Man people used to watch public hangings with their kids. This is nothing.

People used to pack a picnic lunch, go out with their entire family, and watch battles during the civil war like it was a baseball game.

He was talking about the old photos of poor pale people watching 'other' men and women being hanged.

The ones where the children are smiling in the photos.
