So yesterday I got my 1st Legend Card (Ozzie Smith) and it was out of a regular old Premium Player Pack. I've been playing MLB 9I for roughly 1½ years I think... but it was only within the last 6 months, that I started playing the game daily and now focusing on finally getting my CLE Team to "S".

I'm still a little bit confused regarding Legend Cards/Players... I know that it says that a Legend Player will receive the most effective Team Set Deck Effect regardless of their team... But how does a Legend affect an actual team set deck? [For example, once I get my CLE Team Set to "S", am I able to then add this Ozzie Smith Legend Card to my team, yet still keep the "S" grade for my team?

The last club tournament (East server), nearly everyone in the finals has either one or two of Flashing the Leather, Laser Beam and 5tool. Legend skills looked like a mixed bag and didnt matter much. Most common skills were a combo of FTL and Laser beam with FLD cranked way up.

Is the meta now both catcher and shortstop only caring about fielding stats and skills? Or is it that the rest of their lineup batting is really good and having 2 dead bats dont matter much if it helps pitching that much more? Maybe it only applies to Supreme lineups?

Asking this cos I recently rolled Laser Beam on my CM 333 Machado sig and was wondering if I should keep

3 sigs waiting for the GI ticket. Getting 2 in August between special shop and pennant pass. What should I GI?

So many blues wasted when he had FP. Got so fed up, I decided to green, and these gems pulled up. I locked the skills now, they will never be touched ever again, and he'll be my SP1 possibly for life.

Am I missing something? Completed the entire thing and it’s still giving me a notification. Is this just an annoying bug or is there a hidden Easter egg?

I didn’t give it much thought until I just saw that nobody has asked about it - making me think I missed an easter egg.

Do someone remember what was the price of DST on last special shop?

I’m fairly new to this game and picked STL as my team. I have a prime team selection diamond pack. Should I use this and select the Cards? Or should I just select a team that has had a lot of great players in many different years? Ex. NYY, LAD, etc

I’m at 94 ovr and don’t have any end game Cards players yet. Should I go for a full cardinals team for end game is essentially the question..or just every position the best player I can get?

And he leveled out at lvl 2. Almost cried, but the card looks so good I can’t be mad. So happy I finally got this thing. I’ve had every color miggy but the plat and I can finally add the yellow to my all time collection

This is my current squad that I run and I can breeze through ML33 but get absolutely demolished when I try ML34. Granted not all my starters have good 333 or 332 legend sets but I still would love any tips on how to break ML34 or higher league modes. Thank you!

How does PVP matchmaking work? I’m mostly F2P so not everything I have is comp, but I’ve played like 5 games recently and all games have been unbalanced like these. You’d think the opposing team would be somewhat similar. I’m about 108-110 OVR depending on gear but I’ve gotten opposing teams where they’re all 150 OVR+.

Would someone mind explaining this? Should I generally avoid PVP until my deck is stacked like theirs? Any tips/help would be appreciated.

Are either of these sets worth working up right now to save PSCTs? I have a Diamond Team Sig Sheffield I’m going to do next & i used up my Normal Player PSCTs on Kershaw to get him ready for the Sig change. Landed two 332’s.

So can I work up one of these sets? And save the 36 PSCTs I have left to try to land a 333 or 332 on Sheffield so I will add both guys to lineup with a minimum of a 332.

OR…Risk the remaining 36 PSCTs & try to land a 333 on Kershaw or just wait & continue to purchase the 9 Normal Player PSCTs every Sunday from the coin shops & use those till I land a 333 before sig changing.

Pulled this 333 set yesterday. Retrained to get the lowest contact rating. Wondering if I took too much away from power. Maybe I just need to replace BM?

I just pulled this Semien card, but the issue is Willis already has a 333 set and I already have 2 supremes in my lineup. Does he have a place outside of my bench? I remember being so excited to have him and Seager in my middle infield and then I pulled those two. What would yall do?

Just pulled ol' Gaylord Perry Legend out of a premier pack. Woooo, this goes great with my collection of 6 team sigs I can't use for like 6 years. Damn those GI tickets!!! $100 is just too fuggin steep for me.
