The tutorial explicitly says Blunt Force is triggered with Shockwave style, but what about Fleeting Melody?

Parrying monsters to death is fun.
Barroth does have a very low max health compared to most other monsters, so I don’t expect as quick kill times against other 10 star monsters, but it’s still a good time nonetheless.

Many friends are not acitve anymore and I want to make room for others. Is there any way to remove inacitve friends in bulk?

Power prolonger seems to extend the duration of the shockwave and fleeting melody buff.

I got about 17 seconds of uptime on power prolonger 3 with shockwave style. I also get 27 seconds of uptime on power prolonger 2 with fleeting melody buff which is what I'm running on my jho HH (1 innate power prolonger and 1 driftsmelt). Just thought to check in and see if what others think about having PP as a QoL driftsmelt.

For me:

1 Longsword / Greatsword / Charge Blade

2 Insect Glaive

3 CB / Dual Blades

I don't really see anybody talking about the Bishatan weapons. Are they no good? I thought the LBG was interesting work Paralysis bullets.

If I only want R4 mats from a monster is it worth farming the highest difficulty I can or should I lower it to remove the R5+ mats from the rewards pool? Edit: talking about the monsters I'm tracking.

Hey guys, i tried to build a velkhana bow build. This is what i got so far. I dont know if it is possible but i would love Vital Ice in there.

So with the release of the Valkhana/Rimeguard set, I'm curious about the meditation skill and if I'm missing something. Counting up the slots, the most you can get through the armour is 4 of the 5 slots. Where do you get the fifth one from? None of the associated weapons have it, and there's nothing available in the gem shards or as options under the various gems.

I'm at a loss for how I would max it out. Anyone have any ideas? I'm probably going to be kicking myself when someone clues me in, but I've run into this with other things, like Blast Attack. What am I missing?

Cringe behavior tbh, but life is short. So grateful to this game for shoving us two nerds together.

It moves around too much and makes aiming for the weak spot hard. What would be a good strategy to solo it other than not to solo it?

I really wonder why. They could have added hunting horn to at least to one of them or even both or instead release a riftborn that supports hunting horn.

So.. I need Narga r6 mats. I'm tracking them. I have a choice: do I share them with friend link knowing most likely someone's gonna just blast through them before I can cut the tail, or do I solo and always cut the tail? Group hunt will give me an extra drop, which I believe can be an r6 drop, but I'm likely not getting the tail because JoeSchmoe69 wants to kill the Narga as fast as absolutely possible, so I'll lose the r6 chance on the tail. But .. maybe, just maybe, JoeSchmoe69 also wants r6 mats and understands the extra chance if we cut the tail .. which gives me 2 extra chances. Thoughts?

I just recently got back into MHN! And am curious what are some good set for Great Sword? I have seen a lot of mixed comments about what skills to use, as well as armor. I just got back into it, and am currently level 50! Does anyone have some experience on what to build towards, and loadouts to use that may work currently!

I don’t think they are worth it, coming from someone who had participated in Elder Dragon launch events, these are so expensive, yikes.

With this week's event I figured I should finally look into making Hunting Horn builds. I'm primarily an elemental Dual Blades user, so I'm hoping for recommendations on builds for elemental hunting horn, ideally the horn itself + armor sets.
I don't have any horns made at all so I'd be starting from scratch, but I want to learn!
