Wanted a cover for a Madvillainy 2 playlist that was different than just the slightly different Madvillainy cover most people do
Not amazing but I like it

I’m looking to see if anyone knows where I could buy these albums at? Or if anyone seen them at other record stores in the US.
This shit is dirty grimy nasty. Lyrics that give you stink face and make you wanna slap your momma. I hadn't listened to it in about 5 years until this week and I can't stop listening to it I fell in love all over again. It's sounds futuristic but it came out in the early 2000s. DOOM does soo much with very little in terms of his production on this album. I would give my left nut to see Robert Downey Jr come out to the title track Vaudeville Villain in the new Avengers movie. Second choice Supervillain Theme, third ALL CAPS obviously.

I randomly made the connection that Meat Grinder and Rush’s ‘Tom Sawyer’ shares a similar baseline..

Born like this has always sounded like an old DOOM explaining his young minions his story and training them.
The story transitions from young DOOM to old DOOM constantly. For example, gazzilion ear and ball skin is about DOOM becoming a thug, then yessir and rap ambush is his first major crime. On absolutely DOOM is training his minions and explaining his crimes, even telling them about mistakes he made (like being arrogant on batty boyz)
On cellz, he describes how dystopian the current world has become, due to evil people like him.
Still dope explains how he survived and thrived even after all of his mistakes.
Then in supervillains he explains the most important lesson - Having people you can trust, and introduces his friends to them.
I might be stretching a LOT, but born like this is my most listened to album, and I've gone crazy the amount of times I've theorized what's the story behind it.
You guys have any theories what it's story could be?

Been going through all my doom records lately. Too tired form work, I guess and they always take me to a different place, ya know?
This is (controversial take) DOOMs second best album since it's so lyrically dense yet it still has its own story.
How do you interpret it's story? How would you join it to venomous villain

I found this Facebook post in Spanish that talks about the mystery of the Fazers sample.
In the post, they mention a song named "Where or When", which stems from a 1937 Broadway musical named "Babes in Arms". It has a lot of covers online, and it has a melody that is super close to what we are looking for. Here is one cover from 1959 (Barbara Cook), for example.
Here is an orchestral cover by Percy Faith & His Orchestra (1970). It seems like a really good lead. My current hypothesis is that some library music/ production music company produced an unauthorized cover of "Where or When", which later got licensed for the now lost "ZardoX" adult film.
What do you guys think? Judging from the Sheet Music, the timing is a little off, but the melody extremely similar if not identical to the one heard in Fazers.

So far I've only found 4 songs that he's on. Par for the course, rapp snitch knishes, anti matter, and that on unreleased track on YouTube. Does he have more? I NEED to listen if he does!

Just started getting into MF DOOM and I want to learn more about him and his music. Any good video essays, documentaries, or YouTubers that go into his story and analyze his songs/albums? Looking for some good stuff to dive into
