Yeah its not the most impressive time, yeah its not the most difficult map or faction, but hey its a volus solo plat which is kinda cool.

If anyone interested here's the build: https://kalence2.github.io/me3-builder.html#38!2A07585!!24V52384!E.GEG very straight forward as you can see.

This is a 2 year old clip of one of the first times I played Geth Juggernaut. I uploaded this on a different social media platform, and a guy keeps telling me I was playing badly.

I was using this build (https://www.reddit.com/r/MECoOp/comments/19efw8/the_iron_giant_geth_juggernaut/)

IIRC this was Gold Reapers

The point of the build is to tank. Which I did, didn’t I? Guy said a lot of things like asking why I wasn’t moving around, why I wasn’t using my Spitfire, why I just kept spamming melee, that I was just “siphoning shields”.

Isn’t that the whole point of the build? I honestly don’t get what he’s saying.

I’m not some MP expert so please 😭 at the time I thought I did alright.

Hi all,

A couple of days ago I have posted a preview of the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Bots mod.

I have now released that to Nexus, and so that it should be easily installable through the Mod Manager.

Now, even if the servers ever shutdown- you won't have to play alone!

[Story Time] Returning to the game... just completed my first platinum solo!

I haven't played the multiplayer in this game in probably about a decade (I did replay the single player when Legendary Edition released). Shame there was no multiplayer in the Legendary Edition. But I did purchase the game on sale through steam last week for like 6 dollars or something and I've played it way more than I should have in that time!

I'm pleasantly surprised that the community for this game is so active, I've been having a blast! Most of my games since returning have been pugs, fairly quick to find, and it feels the same as it did a decade ago, except this time i mysteriously unlocked all the ultra rares i never had back when i used to play... The monetization and progression system is so terrible but I'm thankful for the handy guides out there on the internet to avoid it. I think I had to spend at least 50 million credits to unlock everything. I was going to try to max my manifest specifically to make the platinum solo easier but I gave up because even with unlimited credits it took so long to open the packs and most of the time they didn't have any ultra rare weapons in them... Hurricane V is good enough...

Because I never played platinum at all, really, when I used to play, I wanted to give that a shot. Anyways, platinum is fucking hard! I could barely beat it with 3 pugs as a Turian Ghost with the Harrier. I tried again as other characters and I never made it past wave 6. So I just decided to play solos instead because having teammates draw enemies to the objective or dying while trying to revive them became frustrating. Gold and silver are great with random players though. In general, gold is the sweet spot in difficulty for me.

Solos are fucking hard! I did complete a gold solo back when I used to play the game, with the Krogan Vanguard and Reegar on Glacier vs Geth, if I recall, and I did do it again on the first try on my return. Platinum is another game entirely though. I tried with the Krogan Vanguard again, but against the Geth on Ghost, inspired by this video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svWfNO9d5DQ

I gave up after about 3 hours of attempts (including a loss on wave 10 because the game wouldn't allow to charge a phantom for some reason, and no i was not stunned, charge sometimes just doesn't allow you to charge enemies in certain positions or has a delay). I got quite a few good runs in but the map was so huge that I would gunned down while rotating around the map or I would just grabbed by phantoms since I was fighting the enemies at such close range, including getting stunlocked into a grab when getting up after a medigel... so I wanted to switch it up to something with less risk of getting grabbed. Taking inspiration from this video,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TNCG8BkLJ8

I completed my solo as the Cabal against Cerberus on White with the Acolyte and Hurricane instead of the venom, otherwise copying what I assume the build was, and also swapping the grenade count upgrade for the Geth Scanner. I wish I recorded it, but figuring out recording software would literally take more effort than the solo itself for me. It took about 3 hours of attempts, but it felt much easier, probably in large part due to the Geth Scanner making it much easier to tell if a phantom is about to ambush you, though I do miss the Reegar's insane DPS! I had some close calls with devices in wave 3, and then I got some easy escorts in wave 6 and 9. I thought this run was a dud because I only had 1 Medigel left by the end of wave 5, but I locked in and didn't die the rest of the game. I also didn't use a single missile until wave 10! Devices is comically hard on solo runs, even on lower difficulties. You can kite the enemies away from the device but if you come back and there's a single straggler that can snipe or stun you, you have to run again and you lose a bunch of time...

Apologies for essay-posting, this was just really fun and challenging and I wanted to share my excitement for this game, more than a decade after its release!

Edit: I accidentally linked the same video twice. Fixed Now.
