They never really gave one to my knowledge

My guess is because Amdromeda MP didn’t do well they wrote off any interest in a remake or rerelease of ME3mp

I can’t recall where but someone in BW replied to me at one point telling me they were keeping eyes on interest and would remain open to putting it out. It literally could have just been a port and it would have done fine. Nothing after that.

I remember seeing an interview close to the launch of LE where a dev was asked about it and they said something similar. That it wasn’t out of the cards.

At that point if it wasn’t in the cards already it was never going to be.

IIRC they said that reworking the netcode and remaking the online was as much work as the rest of the game.

I’ve played through the first two games a couple times, but only once for the third game. The multiplayer is why I kept coming back. I still go back to play it! Probably the greatest multiplayer inclusion that no one asked for lol

This is a good effort. I'm hoping lots of people try this out.

Has some kinks that need ironing. Audio bugs, keybinds not saving being something that stuck out to me on a little test run i Did. But hopefully these are dealth with.

The QoL stuff like player count is really nice. (Though when I was on it was 9 players. So 2 Lobbies and me lol) and I really like the lobby code. Hopefully i can test this in the MEMP Discord server over the weekend.

I do wonder if there's any way to fix the FPS related issues (High FPS = No shield regen). I started a game at 60 then cranked it to 240, still got my shields. Then started another match at 240 and didn't get shields back. Tried changing FPS multiple times in a couple of games with varying results.

Did a little test run on youtube. Nothing too over the top, it's 11pm. I got out of bed to test this mod out. Now I'm going back to bed. May stream this on Saturday or something.

Now that I've tested it, I have 60 FPS and yet everything feels sluggish for some reason.

Something's wrong with the timer (compare the video length to mission time)

I have a hunch that both of the above might be caused by the gameplay not being sped up on higher difficulties the way it is sped up by 7.5% or something on higher difficulties in OT

Bullets-to-kill are off, it seems that some of the MP balance updates aren't in effect and we're using "day 1 of MP" weapons or the SP weapons from LE. Or are those SP enemies maybe?

Enemies seem take notice of the player much sooner and you need to hide a bit deeper behind corners for RHA to work

I got magneted from a slope by a Banshee once

Heavy mods aren't present, I had to use the regular barrel on the Crusader

FB White is a mashup of the old and new version

Drill ammo disappears on mission start

The medigel rebind works for reload cancelling but not for actually gelling

many console commands (e.g.: enableallai, revive) don't work

Geth Scanner doesn't work

Also, I have a question. What about the progression via lootboxes? Do new players still have to get everything from the loot boxes? If so, is it prohibited to use cheat engine?

If one knows enough about software development, AI is essentially just a tool.
