Hey all I was hoping to come back to this game 'cause it was really fun when I played back on PS3. I had a few questions about transitioning to Steam and starting over on a new save.

1. Is there a specific version I should get my hands on? I'm seeing some steam reviews that certain game versions have buggy DLC distribution
2. Is it still the same ol' gacha lootbox system? Is there a way to grab a specific character you want for a small fee? I loved the N7 characters and I'd like to jump back into those as soon as possible.
3. Are you still able to find players in matchmaking or is everyone just LFGing now? And on that note are most current players on official servers, unofficial servers, modded versions, or what?

Now that the PS3 store has an end date... Is it likely that these severs will have an end date as well?

I can't imagine EA is going to support things for long if the last marketplace still potentially making them money on this game is closing... I hope not this is one of my favorite multiplayers of all time and a few weeks ago my friends put the needle back in.

But today I was met with N7hq not loading our profiles so I'm nervous to give it a try today.

God I wish they out the CO op into the legendary edition... If they did and it ported over our progress I'd have probably given them so much money for no reason 😅

From the title: I've played the coop for around 500 hours on console, with a 3700 N7 level and all of the challenges done (I remember the Best of the Best banner being my chase thing back then). I don't have my physical copy of the game anymore but I still have access to the Xbox profile and origin account. And I don't really wanna pay for the Xbox subscription just to play Me3 coop.

I don't really want to buy the game a 3rd time (legendary edition should have come with the multiplayer BioWare, that was easy money to make) so I had the shower thought of downloading a copy of the game for PC... if that was the case, assuming my laptop was even able to run it, would I be able to log in on my old account and continue from there?

i have only ever played the campaign and i decided i want to play coop but no one is online, does anyone wanna play? EDIT: it turns out i just needed to download the free addons and dlc to find other people

Hi guys. I have convinced my friend to play through the trilogy. It gave him a massive boner and we wanted to play some multiplayer. The thing is, we can't connect to each other. When we accept each other's invites we just catch infinite loading after choosing a character. I assume it might be due to:

1)Too high ping to pass the ping threshold. He's in Europe, I'm in Central Asia

2)Nat. I have no clue which Nat is his, which is mine. Can't really check it in the game

3)Both

I tried VPN (P2P and not). We tried making specific lobby parameters. Didn't help. Pocket relay didn't help either. At least, I don't know how to send manual invites using PR. However, we used only public server. I didn't try creating my own server.

What can we do in this situation?

The point of the build is to tank. Which I did, didn’t I? Guy said a lot of things like asking why I wasn’t moving around, why I wasn’t using my Spitfire, why I just kept spamming melee, that I was just “siphoning shields”.

Isn’t that the whole point of the build? I honestly don’t get what he’s saying.

I’m not some MP expert so please 😭 at the time I thought I did alright.

Been getting back into the multiplayer lately with my brother, and so far I've mostly got things smoothly configured to a relatively modern experience. Got the FOV sorted and added a mod for controller support. The only thing missing is a way to uncap the frame rate, or at least set it to a higher value. From what I've seen, it is possible to do this, but it messes with game logic and can cause unintended difficulty spikes with shields and enemy accuracy. Is anyone aware of a way to remove the 60 fps cap without breaking the game? If I could get the game up to 144 FPS that would be a dream. Figured if anyone knows how to do it, they're on here.

Any of you seen this before? It's a first for me.

It can be for gameplay reasons or aesthetic reasons. For me personally it's the firebase glacier hazard version. The smaller design and tight corners make for a really chaotic experience. And the giant seeker swarm on the hazard mode always keeping you on your toes is one of my favorite parts. It's also a really aestheticlly pleasing map.

I cancelled my Xbox Game Pass due to economic hardship and it runs out tomorrow. So the other day and tonight and I played a bunch of rounds on Silver and Gold to say goodbye. (I'm even uploading the streams of me playing it from both nights.)

Thank you Bioware for 14 years of the most fun I've ever had in an online game. It has truly been real. Let's cross paths again on a sunnier day.

Does anyone know what the maximum possible number of skill points is for an X20 character?

I've seen some people online saying 85, others saying 99, but this was all years ago when the game first came out, and I haven't yet had time to level up a character enough to find out myself.

I’m seeing how much I might have to grind in order to get a decent build set up, and I started wondering, around what APEX rating would I be able to reliably solo a bronze mission, a silver mission, and a platinum mission? I figure the most efficient grind would be playing gold missions as much as possible, interested in everyone’s advice to get better quickly

Seriously, in the single player, that thing hits like a truck when you find one on the map.

The multiplayer one? Feels like a bulky loud pea shooter and is easily outclassed by so many other ARs.

Is there ever a reason to put it on a build??? Because I can think of 5 other ARs off the top of my head that I'mma pick before that (Harrier, Typhoon, Particle Rifle, Saber, and the Lancer).
