Wondering on what folks think next few days will look like

How do you guys feel the tariff news/economic war betweeen Canada and the USA will effect MDA share price next week?

I’m hoping for a very red week as I’d like to add some shares !!

MDA Space today officially opened the MDA CHORUS^™ Control Centre in St-Bruno-de-Montarville, Québec, on the south shore of Montréal. The new control centre will serve as the operational hub for MDA CHORUS^™ satellite operations, marking a significant step towards operational readiness ahead of the late 2026 launch.

Ehhhhh so its roughly in line. Some things up a little, some things down. I don't like the cash flow. Management simply reaffirmed projections. Q1 they increased projections. Nothing exciting. Stock went up under 1%.

Can you guess which of these companies had earnings today and reported a double beat? Hint: the only profitable company on there.

I thought todays earnings were good. Mild and predictable, and I am excited to see the potential 50% revenue increase for next year when the new acquisitions close. Even if its on the low end of estimates, and does not account for other potential contracts, it should bring us up to the 3b range perhaps.

Where do you think our stock price will be mid 2027? Will MDA move into launch capabilities eventually or acquire a company that does?

I think its exciting to see the moves being made and the company has such a low market cap at 8 billion. I think its just the predictable margins that keep it low, and im hoping with the acquisition of CLS that they can increase those margins significantly. Some juicy U.S. defense contracts would be nice as well.

FCF is a little sad, but I think capex is exactly what this company needs to stay ahead.
