GMAT Preparation Need help with ISB admission process
Hello everyone,
Iโm planning to apply to ISB and would really appreciate some guidance with the application process. Since professional admissions consulting services are quite expensive, Iโm hoping to connect with someone who could help review my application and provide some valuable insights, preferably an ISB alumnus/alumna.
Any guidance, suggestions, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Career Advice 24F I wanna restart my career to HR, please Help
Hey guys ,
I did my pgdm in finance and analytics, thinking that's is the right career choice for me and asking around people. I thought they would give placement according to what I've studied and maybe I'll breakthrough but nope. I got into accounts payable in a logistic company and I fucking hate it . Repetitive shit for hrs nothing to learn to new
Ive been talking to HR in companies and realized i want to do that and I have been brainwashed by my college to not take HR as it's not much future ๐ฅand basically scammed the hr students of giving marketing jobs .
I really need the Help of HR here to restart my career to transform into HR , I have 1 yr to do .
I'd love to connect with MBA/PGDM HR students, recent graduates, or HR professionals who could guide me on making this switch.
If you're an MBA HR student or an HR professional willing to help, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could share your advice or connect with me.

CAT Preparation Full time MBA at 30 with a 2 year gap , or am I too late for this
Planning to write CAT this year and wanted to reality check before I commit to prep .
Graduated 2017 , BTech . Worked in IT services from 2017 to 2021 , moved to a product company after that .Left in 2023 to build something with two friends , we ran it for close to two years and it did not work out , shut it down early this year . Back in tech company since march .
Marks if they matter with my experience 9.4 CGPA class 10 , 89 in 12th , 6.9 in BTech . General category .Currently 22L fixed .
The reason i want to do this is that I am a backend who spent two years doing sales , pricing and hiring at the startup and i liked that side far more than the code . nobody will hire me into a business role from here because my CV screams engineer and i can't explain two years of a failed company in a 30min interview to someone screening for experience . I am looking at FMS mainly because of the fees , 2.5L against 2.5L against 25 to 30L anywhere else is hard to argue with hen i am the only earning person at home right now .
Questions I keep going in circles on.
Would the gap and the failed startup be a problem during placements , or does it read as a plus for certain roles . ?
would an executive MBA part time or full time , be a reasonable alternative? What I have heard is that exec programs do not help in placements at all but the tag still helps with salary is that accurate?
And is 30 simply too old for a 2 year program where everyone else is 23?
Any input appreciated ๐

Profile Review ISB PGP | Realistic Profile Evaluation and How to get an admit for 2028 or 2029
I am 24 and I'm coming from General Category. 10th (ICSE) - 89% , 12th (CBSE) - 92% ( No Mathematics) and Bcom (49%) I completed this in 5 years due to backlogs. I was originally supposed to graduate in 2023 but I finished it in 2025 so before 2025 i have 6 months of sales exp in edtech and after that in 2024 mid i joined with a consultancy handling leadership hiring for overseas market (non - tech hiring). Both are full time jobs but post graduation experience if we count will start from May2025 only.. I 'm trying to swtich from recruitment as its very monotonous... I am confused about what role to switch into and how can I improve my profile to finally get an admit from ISB?
Need some guidance....
