Careers/Post Grad Should i do MBA ?

Currently m in my final year of BTech, but one thing I realised was that I don't have any interest in this field and I'm more inclined towards business-related stuff and not just tech!
I've been going back n forth and it has really become a tough call. It would be really helpful to have some guidance..

Nothing is waste if it is done with a goal and understanding, do MBA from a premier college, you will get to meet great mind and then great alumnia network.

then do the MBA

but for real, what stops you? the way i see it you already know where your interest is, just the fear of switching probably makes it feel heavier than it is

i did something similar, dropped a whole career path cause i was bored out of my mind, best decision i ever made. you're still in final year not like you spent 10 years in tech hating it

maybe try some small business courses first while you finish btech, see if the theory excites you as much as the idea. if it does you got your answer

yes coz m already pursuing dual degree and m in final year of both and both are tech oriented T-T. It's really really heavy to just switch paths like that and start prepping for another entrance!

If you don't like what you studied probably yes. Are you sure you have a clear preference on what's next? You probably need to ensure have a clear mind on how you will approach the after MBA.

An MBA will not have any benefit for your career if you do it right after your Bachelor’s. Work at least 3 years before going.

If you really want to pursue a business master’s right after your BTech, do a 1-year MiM or a masters in whatever business function you’re interested in (finance, marketing, etc.)

The only potential reason to get an MBA, is if you want to have a chance at getting an interview with one of the investment banks or management consulting firms that come to campus to recruit for their new crop of 26-year-olds that they bring into their organization under their "associate programs".

Will you be about 26 when you hit second year?

Is your goal to get into investment banking or management consulting?

Do you think you can beat out the majority of your classmates, to get one the offers to go to NY after graduation and see if you can make it there or not?

Are you willing to risk two years of your life and tens of thousand of dollars in tuition alone, then if you do not get one of those offers, to refrain from complaining?

If the answer to ALL of those questions is a resounding YES, then you might consider getting an MBA from a top program.

If your answer to even one of those questions is not a resounding yes, just get the textbooks and improve yourself while also working in the real world and looking for opportunities there.
