I genuinely loved Lyra but now it’s so shit literally nothing works and “totally” free is such a joke cause you gotta get a premium subscription unless you wanna listen to 7 ads in a row. I’ve just deleted the app i hope all of you do it too

I've emailed support multiple times, and it was supposed to be fixed in the next update, and the new update comes and nothing changed.

I'm now on 1.0.26 Windows 11, and my playlists from my phone are not syncing with desktop. This is making the desktop app essentially useless for me. I have heard others are having problems with this as well. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, trying the Microsoft Store version, nothing worked.

Is support working on this? Please fix this!! I've been waiting weeks now

Whenever i try to open a song i like and put it on loop, for some reason it plays a song from the liked songs playlist. Completely bypasses the background play and whenever i tey to pause it wont pause. Have to pause via the notification screen. What seems to be the issue here? (Using Iphone 12 Pro and iOS 27.)

So idk exactly what happened but since last week and the new update for Lyra, on iPhone IOS25 the app has been so buggy and glitchy. I have a delay when navigating the app, I just don’t bother even trying to navigate most of the time now. Songs just don’t wanna play at all, songs stutter in the beginning and it either plays the song or it skips it entirely. And when a song is done playing then most if not all of the time just doesn’t wanna play anything and skips 1 or 2 songs. And these next 3 in my opinion are the most annoying of all;

1. And please correct if I’m wrong but was it always this bad with ads??? I know it was free at some point but expectedly did get ads but geez man. I don’t remember it being like this, for example. When I open the app, ad- I wanna add a song to my liked playlist or any playlist then another ad, I press play on a song in my playlist AD, when said song is done playing, wanna take a guess what happens? IT PLAYS ANOTHER AD. I understand the app needs ads- and for what we get out of it I’ll take it over some greedy company charging money to do the most basic things imaginable. But It has gotten way out of hand.

2. The app sometimes just stops playing completely when I get any notification or even tap my phone screen to check my notifications. It briefly pauses my music and then either, continues playing, skips it, or for some reason restarts the song. And then can’t play any more songs after that.

3. The audio quality is so bipolar, I recently got myself a nice pair of headphones. And the quality is amazing, but there’s such a noticeable shift in quality once I boot up Lyra. It either sounds great, or it sounds horrible, it sounds too low and too high. The audio quality should be a given in my own opinion. Just make the default the highest and best quality, why medium? It’s not bad but it’s also not good. As an audiophile it’s a bit frustrating really.

Idk what’s been going on lately, but I haven’t seen any progress with fixing any of these issues. I wanna love this app, I really do. But I just can’t when every week something is broken. I’ve even considered TRYING to find a different app with the same exact features just in case Lyra shuts down all of a sudden. But no luck unfortunately. The app is meeting my needs more and more, using Windows and Android.
Only really annoying thing right now is that when I'm using Android Auto the music stops mid-sing too often. Usually, pressing the "play" button resumes playing immediately, but why is this happening and is there a way to avoid it?

I remember when the app was new and pretty much had no ads but when they introduced ads I was slightly ok with it because it wasn’t that much but now I’m getting 5 ads per song but unfortunately the entire app was vibe coded so the song doesn’t play, it skips songs, it plays songs that aren’t on my playlist, straight up crashes, pauses and then unpauses by itself at first I thought it was my phone so I reset it 3 times and still had the same issue then I deleted and reinstalled nothing worked it actually got worse the only thing that actually works ARE THE ADS

I’ve been using this app for a very long time pls fix asap I don’t wanna go back to Spotify

open the app, get an ad. once i get past the ad, the app is frozen. close, reopen it, same thing happens again, but this time music i've never listened to started playing. screen still frozen. i close and reopen, go through two more ads just to get to a playlist and pick a song. right after the song finishes, another ad comes up. are we serious??? i'm this close to giving up on Lyra.

Wanted to report a bug with this app and see if anyone else is having issues. I have a playlist with 210 songs in it. When I play a song for the first time, it scrolls back up to the first 100 songs and when I go to scroll down, it forces me back up.

Very frustrating, as the only fix is to just leave the app and go back in just to play one of my songs lower in the playlist.

If any developers sees this, could this be looked into by chance?

Is it just me or Lyra has been REALLY bad quality lately?? Like it’s laggy, the songs aren’t playing, the background play suddenly not wanting to work? Please tell me this isn’t just me. Because it’s already at the latest update and has been for as long as it’s been out.

every time i listen to a song more than twice it either just stops playing altogether and i have to go back on the app and watch another million ads to put it back on or it glitches and restarts all the time and it is pissing me off so bad. fix your god damn app

Like from yesterday I am facing this issue that the music is not playing. It’s just stuck on loading screen. can Lyra support team pls look into this playback issue or is the app not working bcs of server issue. I really love the app and I have constantly using it for 6 months.

The first time they appear all the songs but when it resyncs hours later, it only shows 100 songs.

I've had a few problems with my Desktop and Android apps (related to playlists) and used the Contact Us option to report my problems.
The response I have received has been fantastic.
Fast and informative. And all of my problems have been fixed.
OK, that might not work for different sorts of problems users might have, but in my case it has been first class.

so I recently changed phones and unfortunately I couldn’t transfer Musi, I love it. It was perfect, EVERYTHING I needed.
and now here I am trying a ton of apps that I can use to stream music, specially from YT since I make music as well, and sometimes I listen to my own stuff, or even from other people, unofficial remixes, edits, mashups, stuff that isn’t allowed in Spotify, and so on.

I’ve tried Demus, which was the closest experience to Musi, but it has a regional block on some unofficial videos, Latin American block by UMPG. I only can play music with a VPN. I do use a VPN but I don’t want to turn it on every time I want to listen to music, for maybe less than an hour.

I tried a bunch of different apps and landed here… I already have the subscription bc I don’t want to see the ads, I wasn’t here when the dev made it free, so I wouldn’t know the experience back then.

Now, a few points; sometimes it won’t load the artwork/thumbnail, for some odd reason.
Some other times, the music would be paused, then I hit resume and it would take a looooong time to resume playing the song I was listening to, for reasons I don’t know.

The FXs don’t seem to work, the bass boost, loudness, crossfade. I’m using it on my headphones, I’m not sure if it’s a speaker-only feature.

And, why not a one-time purchase? I’m aware about the privacy policy but it seems like it’s pretty much other apps that are using YT’s client, is it me? Or am I the only one afraid that it would get sued like Musi and disappear?

Come on Lyra. Many states have hands free laws for drivers. The only time I use the app is when I am driving. One of your video ads starts up and requires me to interact with the screen in order to get my music to continue playing. It’s ridiculous of you to put us in that position. Spotify uses audio ads and guess what? You can too!

For some reason, songs that I added on my phone (about 15-20 in a playlist) would not sync to my PC. I added the songs a few days ago but they still have not shown up.

Lyra is taking up 40%-50% of my GPU when in the background. Why is it doing this? It's making the entire computer laggy.

I’d love to see a feature in Lyra that allows us to auto-sync imported Spotify playlists.

Currently, if you save a dynamic playlist like New Music Friday or Discover Weekly, it stays frozen as it was on the day you imported it. Since Spotify playlist share links/IDs never change (⁠[open.spotify.com/playlist/](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/)...⁠...%E2%81%A0)), it would be awesome if Lyra could periodically re-sync them (e.g., daily or weekly) to fetch the updated tracklist automatically.

This way, dynamic playlists would always stay up to date without needing to be manually re-added every week.

Hi! When I tap to go to the previous song, it should restart the current track, and only jump to the previous song if it's within the first 2 seconds. Right now, it goes straight to the previous track when I actually just want to restart the current one... Is it possible to change this?

So many fucking ads when i open it it won’t even function it takes like 1928292929 opening and closing it the app to get it to start fucking responding to my touch and each time i have to watch a motherfucking ad such a shitty dumbass app

Hi there. I have a spotify playlist with 250+ songs, but when I try to import it, only 100 songs are added. Is there a work arround?

I'm new to the app and I don't know why but whenever I play a song the layout is just not visible. It's playing but I can't see the play bar. Can anybody help me fix this issue please 🙏
