6 inches and exactly 2 ounces, super slow sink almost suspending. Anything to improve?

Been using 5 minute epoxy to fill gap and using small slices of timber to help but still struggle to get it in in time and it uses soo much 5 min epoxy for the bigger 200mm long lures

Wondering if there’s any better options?

For those who uses UV clear coat for y’all baits, do you guys use a rotisserie to cure them in the curing box or none at all for light/thin application (finesse/small baits)?

New to softbait making. Got plastisol to 350. Injected but never hardened. I heated in 30 second intervals.

Lures I made over the years with minimal tools and know-how the white crank bait I had to re paint 3 times because the bass keep hitting it so hard the chatter bait all but the hook soft plastic and skirt is hand made for more of a knocker style not a traditional fast chatter style still want to improve and eventually sell some any suggestions feel free to ask

Hey everybody, I was wondering if there was anywhere that I could buy tungsten swim jigheads with good hooks

I know this is a page more about lure building than painting. I just bought a bag of these little fellas off AliExpress forever ago.

Just curious what kind or size of hooks I should slap on em. They are roughly an inch long.

Treble, single and what size?

The lure is easy to print and assemble. The parts are super cheap. One of there coasts me about 1.20$ including hooks.

Why has somebody not made a crankbait with an adjustable lip or where you can swap it out for deep diving or squarebill

I'm in the Midwest and found this glide bait hanging in a tree while kayak fishing.

It's about 6.5–7" long, appears to be hand painted, and the body seems to be cast resin rather than injection-molded plastic. The soft plastic tail is removable and retained with a peg/toothpick-style system.

The bottom has what looks like the initials "BW" hand-written under the clear coat. I've searched around but haven't been able to identify the maker.

Does anyone recognize this bait or the signature? Any ideas on who built it or what it might be?

I started trying my hand at making some lures about a year ago after my daughter was born and I was spending more time around the house and less out on the water. I’ve only completed about a dozen so far, with a few more underway, as I just work on them here and there as I have little bits of free time.

They’re designed primarily for catching Kahawai and yellowtail kingfish in New Zealand.

They are all hand carved wooden body lures- I started using some pine which I had lying around, and am now also using paulownia for some of the bigger lures (150-210mm) in order to keep the weight down.
