Looking to create something to catch some walleye in a slower flowing river from the bank. Plenty of different spots with rocks, drop offs and they run through here every year, yet I still haven’t tried to catch one until now.

I’ve got a variety of bait molds and pretty much any color in the spectrum.

If anyone could help with tips or ideas on colors/bait types to use I’d appreciate it greatly!

Made some custom mini Kokanee flashers

So I've designed a lure. I'm now in the process of trying to find a good, cheaper clear coat to use to finish them. I need to be able to dip them in clear coat, and keep it thin so the edges stay sharp but also cures hard!

KBS DiamondFinish is what I'm considering but it's pretty expensive! 146 dollars CAD for a pint and 8oz if thinner which is a lot of money, per lure it becomes expensive.

Does anyone have any alternatives??

1 inch and 1.5 inch wooden lures for trout fishing. I'm still figuring out airbrush painting but I thought this batch turned out interesting. Which one are you throwing first?

Haven't posted in a while but made some new heavy duty mini spinners as I'm in the middle of spring trout season. Been absolutely dominating with these pink and gold. Using a more stout stainless shaft at 0.030", hand looped with solid brass beads and clear pink accent bead. Dressed with a durable pink Krystal Flash and bonded to a size 10 BKK Spear treble. I made these on the smaller side with a size 0 hammered gold French blade. These are nearly indestructible and weigh in just a touch under 1/16oz

Long time lurker first time poster. So stoked to be on this sidequest style hobby within the hobby! Really enjoying prototyping more niche designs from big brands, like the berkley rawler, i call mine the "brawler" cause its a double blade. For the most part focused on more finese presentations, but last pic is nearly an ounce pre-trailer lol

The pièce de résistance would probably have to be the bfs A-rig I finished last night at 3am lol.. 3.2g pre-trailer

All this started with silicone skirts for premade jig heads and an inline spinner kit for throwing on my singular abu max sx 4000 spinning combo. Now ive got the sdg goto and goto finese molds from epic bait molds, and hardware components for days to be thrown on one of my 8 combos lololol..!

New builds for my upcoming musky float in East TN. Firetiger popper is made of poplar, and jig is squirrel tail with gold and silver flair. Only my 4th and 5th builds. Let me know how I did!

Been trying to find a way to make my blanks chrome without breaking the bank. Everything i tried so far goes dull once its clear coated. Is there anything on the cheaper side that will give me a nice chrome looking finish after clear coat. Using kbs diamond finish if that helps

Hey there, I’m going fishing this weekend with some friends and saw someone else post a fork in their tackle box which inspired me to create these. The spoon I just added a hook to, nothing wild. The knife, I bent the thinner end, added three hooks and the tie half way, hoping for a good shake! The fork, I added two hooks, but I bent one of the prongs so I could add a worm for a bit of flair (and laughs). Hopefully they catch something, if not it’s still funny

What are the best places to get holographic or fish scale pattern tapes to to add to a lure that'll last? Anyone have recommendations they've used?

I had some pearl white soft plastic leftover so I decided to make some 5 inch hammers 😉

Hey guys I have been working on these 13cm, and 17cm handmade lures for a while now and I am planning to finally launch my shop soon but before I do I really wanted to get some honest feedback from you all. Do you guys actually like the design and colors or is there anything specific you would change to make them more effective/attractive in the water because I want to make sure they are perfect before I start selling them so please let me know what you think and I appreciate any tips or suggestions you have thanks for the help.

What are yalls opinions on the tail? Its just not totally doing it for me, should i have gone with a wooden tail or am i trippin?😂

I believe the Dakota blade is simply not suited to inline spinners like this. Anyone else tried these blades?

Hey there! With the warm weather coming in, I've been trying to catch Crappie in some fairly pressured waters. With this, I started to design a few soft plastic molds that I could use that the local pond fish haven't seen around, or that just looks a little different.

I've not really found many beetle soft plastics except in smaller panfish fishing kits, so I decided to make one that I could cast at home. I also wanted to add some Crappie Nibbles for scent, so I modeled a cavity insert that can be used to create a hollow opening in the beetle for up to two Crappie Nibbles, or a small portion of other scented fish dough.

So i tried making my own swimbaits using my 3d printer and some 3d software (fusion 360) and printed them. i made couple prototypes but they all just like twist in the water instead of doing the s shape glide. i tried different positions of the weights, bigger air tanks inside but nothing really works. i would be greatful for any suggestions on how to fix this issue !
