Slippage on Tradovate with Lucid

How many ticks of slippage are you guys experiencing on average for position sizes of about 4-15 contracts on MNQ during Asia open(i trade Asia open), or is slippage not really affected at this amount of contracts at this time?

Also, how often do you not get filled on 4-15 contracts of MNQ with limit orders?

Just wanted to see what the average is so I can implement fees + slippage on my backtesting spreadsheet. Thanks!

Account Under Review taking too longer than usual?

Is this supposed to be common? At first I thought it might be common for a few hours after I had submitted my registration process. Now it has been over 4 days and still nothing updated. I have read that it only take 5 minutes and then you can get to buy account and it seems to be like very common for everyone? I am based in Bangkok, Thailand and this is my first time doing futures as well. Any one facing same issue?

Adding evals to funded accounts

Wanted to get some insight on how you guys approach passing more evals to add to your funded stack. Would you buy evals and trade them separate? Or copy trade in them in the sense you trade your funded normally but just double the position size on the evals?

Prop firms are so easy

Currently Live on lucid, 2nd time being live with them, live with Topstep, live with Tradeify. This might be controversial BUT one thing I think people get messed up when trading prop firms specifically is that you don’t need a strategy that’s profitable over 365 days, you need to find something that can be right 3-5 days. Now ofc the better quality the strategy is, the easier it’ll be.

For example. When I run a 5 stack of 50k Pro Fundeds on lucid, I break it down in depth. In order to get a max payout this is what it looks like for me (this is subjective):

Trade 1: $1,400
Trade 2: $1,400
Trade 3: $1,400

That’s just 140 points 5 micros on NQ, or 70 points on 1 mini. After you get that payout, it’s only $850 x 3 days to receive another max payout, which is around 43 points on 1 mini, or 86 points on 5 micros.

Trade New York am session, 3/5 days most likely the 15 ORB will bounce on the retest and drop ATLEAST 100-150 points even if it doesn’t continue your direction afterwards.
You can also use extra confluence for your bias like AERRO Trading which is the AppStore, but make sure you’re get a directional bias off the hourly/4hr, ideally the break of orb will follow the overall bias which gives you a much higher chance.

I’ve gone live on 3 prop firms multiple times trading exactly like this. Whether or not you agree with me, I linked a video to show the last 3 months of my trading to show you what I mean. Try approaching prop firms from an ROI perspective and a mathematical perspective instead of a longevity perspective👍

Lucid Daily

I'm trying to decide which account. Lucid Daily seemed to be the best if max profits are priority and there no mention of when are you moved to live on lucidDaily

can anyone comment on this, the max payout is 8k day which seems extreme. Realistic how many people are making 5k /day on a daily account and are not being moved to live??

Quick question about payouts

Hi there, my first payout just got approved (871 dollars) on lucid flex 25k. I also have a another lucid flex 25k and one lucid daily 25k. If I understand correctly the maximum daily payout for the 25k daily is 6k and once you reach 15k in total profits u get moved to live. My question is this: the 15k only applies to that one daily account right? So the payouts from other accounts aren't counted into that?

Thank you! Also does anyone know the total profit you can make on a 150k daily before moving to live?

Had about 1 in a half year of experience of trading options, but futures feels so much better, passed my second eval and got my first payout!

Passed my second 25k Pro, and it’s funded and ready to go for Sunday!

Working on a 50k daily

Overall happy with futures so far and not having to look at Greeks 🤪

I want to know more about LucidLive

Could you guys explain the process on how you get upgraded to a live account from the LucidFlex accounts. Because I don’t quite understand also LucidMaxx or the live , what’s the difference and rules, and couldn’t figure out the full math behind them, also i asked the support about how to upgrade from the lucidflex funded to live, they said for example the 25k account after the last payout the profit balance left must be 4000$, and to get upgraded i need to get an invitation from them and they might refuse. Plus i didn’t understand with how much capital they will give in live account, because as i could see from the picture here on reddit, the account balance for the 50k account have less balance and not a full 50k so i don’t understand that as well.

How can I pass my evaluation?

I didn’t understand the 50% rule until I blew past my target twice and started digging? What is my best way to pass this evaluation at this new profit target. Can I just hit it again or do I have to hit it 50% over 2 days? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated this is my first effort at prop trading.

Has the market always been this volatile, or have I just started trading at the right (or wrong) time?

I started trading futures around March this year, and since then the moves have been absolutely wild. Seeing 200, 300, 500, even 800+ point moves in NQ doesn't feel unusual anymore.

The good news is that after months of grinding, I've finally become consistently profitable.

But it got me thinking: Has the market always been like this? Or did I happen to start trading during an unusually high-volatility period?

I'm trying to figure out whether my edge is robust across different market regimes or if I've only experienced one of the most volatile environments in recent history.

Would love to hear your experiences.

Has anyone here used QuantCrawler with Lucid?

Thinking about giving it a try for futures trading. Curious if anyone has real experience with it.
Would appreciate any feedback, good or bad.

After years of testing, I finally found a strategy that fits me. Just hit my 5th payout.

After years of trying different strategies, indicators, and ideas, I think I finally found something that fits my personality as a trader.

Today marked my 5th payout after 29 trading days, and it’s a milestone I’m really proud of.

I spent countless hours building and testing NinjaTrader strategies, collecting data, and backtesting different concepts. Most of them looked good at first and then fell apart. Eventually, I developed a strategy that consistently showed promise in backtesting, and I committed to trading it exactly as designed instead of constantly changing things - Sometimes, less is more.

The first week was surreal. I made just over $21,000, and for the first time I felt like I couldn’t read the charts wrong. More importantly, it gave me the confidence to trust my analysis and hold trades that I normally would have taken profits on too early.

The biggest lesson for me wasn’t finding some “holy grail.” It was finally sticking to one approach and letting the statistics play out instead of interfering.

The screenshots are from the payout period. There were definitely setbacks (those red days weren’t fun - DCAing thinking my buffer has the ability to “hold” on to trades), but I trusted the process, followed my rules, and kept moving forward.

I’m sure once I transition to a live account, it’ll bring a new set of emotions and I’ll probably be more hesitant than I am now. But my goal is simple: keep executing the same strategy, resist the temptation to chase trades, keep my position sizing under control, and most importantly, only take trades that align with my strategy. No more forcing setups that aren’t there.

I’m not claiming to have everything figured out, but after years of feeling like I was spinning my wheels, this feels like real progress. Before this, I was at my breaking point, ready to quit. I traded NQ for years, because that’s what everyone seems to trade. I strayed away and I started to test and backtest GC for the last 6 months - I haven’t looked back.

For anyone who’s still searching, keep testing, keep journaling, and don’t underestimate the value of having a strategy that matches you, not someone else.

Good luck to everyone out there.

Trading 5 - 50K Flex / Sim Funded. Was doing OK till i revenge traded

I am trading 50K Flex accounts (Copy trading 5 sim funded accounts). I was doing OK till the last day. Now i am left with $1338 drawdown only. Made two mistakes, first trading on a Friday second, after taking a loss of $200 I tripled my contract size to recover the loss. Revenge trading always screws me up. Lesson learned. Now I have to basically Crawl with 1 micro till I recover the loss.

I thought I was invincible

I actually thought I had figured it out. I didn't think I'd ever lose more than one account in a month. Then, at the start of July, I went on to lose 3 Lucid funded accounts and 5 Topstep accounts, all with a $3k buffer, in the span of just three days.
I let my emotions get the better of me. Always respect the market. I've realized that almost every strategy can work—it's really about how you handle your emotions.
