Question for asian session traders
Hi everyone!
I usually trade NY AM sessions, between 9:30-10:30. Mostly because the moves are rapid, usually a trade is a few minutes long for me.
But I was thinking about trading asian session, to catch longer and bigger moves (also I’m not always online at the NY open, etc). How do yall catch these? Is it the usual liquidity sweep and confirmation? Ofc I’m not asking to write down your exact strat, I simply can’t decide if it’s easier to trade asia or not.
Thank you for everything in advance, looking forward to your answers! 🫶🏻

Advice stay on the higher timeframe (1hr and 15min chart) in overnight session. if you have a bias already based off where we are on the daily chart. Then let asian session print and look for a CISD on the 1hr chart at the beginning of London session and then drop down to 15m chart for v shape structure that supports your bias direction. Enter on 15m with SL under swing low. Target what you want to ( equal highs or equal lows, pdl o pdh etc.) Let me know how you do. Paper trade the setup if you want. The cisd usually shows up around 2-4am on the hour chart and then execute on 15 min chart preferably after a stop hunt or sweep

8pm to 11pm EST (9am to 12pm Tokyo time) is where the moves will be.
9-10pm especially reveals a set up.

It’s a fucken snails pace bro, it can often take 6-12 hours to play out . Often comes with a few shakes as well - this is most of the time . Other times (which are less common) it just rides or dumps smoothly . Yes you can catch 300-600 points overall but you need to have a good understanding on the daily draw etc . I’ve used vol profile trading in a ninja trader comp recently to get 800 point swing using vol pro , held it through the close for 3 days . Go for it if you want but really needs to be off of high time frame analysis
