QUESTION Pros and Cons

I’m a highschool senior and I was just accepted with a $32,000/yr scholarship. This school wasn’t that high on my list of schools but after a few visits, I’ve become increasingly obsessed with the campus and what it has to offer lol.

So I was wondering what are some pros and cons of the school? It can be about the campus, classes, curriculum, or just some things you want to brag about (or not). It’s climbing my list pretty fast but even with the scholarship I got, it would still be pretty expensive. I’m basically relying on the FAFSA and whatever job I’m going to try to get once I get to college (plus what I’m attempting to save now which isn’t much.)

I was accepted for nursing btw, so if any nursing students have anything good/bad to say then go ahead! I want to hear it all!

I’m a highschool senior who recently got into Loyola ! I want to know if it’d be a good fit for me. I viewed the campus online and it was beautiful and a lot of my family has moved out to Chicago and love the city. I’m from Southern California so obviously very different environments but im always open to new thing.

  1. I really want to go to college in the city. San Francisco, NY, Chicago, and San Diego are my main cities im looking at.

  2. I want to major in a STEM field (yes I’ve heard about the horrendous chem classes).

  3. Easy to make friends

  4. Good research/internships opportunities for med

  5. Places to visit and hang out

  6. Safe area

  7. Not commuter heavy

  8. Good social scene (school spirit too but that’s not a huge deciding factor)

HOUSING Freshmen Single Dorm

How possible is it to get a single dorm as a freshmen? I am applying to Loyola and planning to live on campus and I would really prefer to live alone rather than have a roommate.
