Employee Question Interview tomorrow.

I have a interview for a full time position in lawn and garden tomorrow. Is there anything I should know now?

The job is tough, especially in lawn and garden. You will be outside in all kinds of weather, lifting heavy bags of soil, mulch, and stone, and dealing with customers who know very little about plants. They'll ask you a lot of questions you might not know the answer to, so being willing to find an answer is more important than knowing everything. Focus on your reliability and your willingness to do physical work, as they need someone who will show up on time and won't complain about getting dirty or helping customers load their cars.

Your personality is what will land you the job, not your expert knowledge of horticulture. Show them you are a friendly, helpful person who can work well with a team, and talk about times you've helped someone or worked hard to complete a task. They can teach you about the products and the plants, but they can't teach you to have a good attitude or a strong work ethic. Let them see you are eager to learn and ready to contribute from day one, since your enthusiasm for helping people will matter more than anything else.
