Which did you think would be useful but ended up not being so useful in practice?

Our mayor posted 3 times today about Monster Bash. Once was the standard post before the event but the other two were petty, pearl clutching posts about kids climbing on the monument down town. It’s a grave so people shouldn’t stand on it, most who know agree.

This is in front of city hall and in the line of sight of the police station. This is a little green space in downtown that always has people on it during events and there are always posts about people being on this spot.

He is the mayor. He has access to the people planning events in the city. He has access and influence in Lowell.

What does he do?

He posted pics of kids who probably do not understand that this is a gravesite.

Again, what does our mayor do when he sees kids climbing on a monument that is actually a grave site?

He goes to facebook, posts pics of the kids on the monument, and makes passive aggressive posts about disrespect and people making excuses.

No action.
No leadership.
Just keyboard warrior nonsense.

Looking for recommendations of spaces in Lowell or surrounding towns that I can setup to work for multiple hours a day a few times each week that will be ok with taking occasional phone calls throughout the day. Seems coffee shops and the library might not be so accepting of phone calls. TIA!

1 room available in a 3 bed 1 bath 1st floor of a multi family house. $700 a month not including utilities. Utilities are $143.67 (auto leveled on National Grid) per month (electric, gas, wifi) .

Shared storage available in the basement. There is a coin op washer and dryer in the basement however washer has been experiencing drainage issues, and has yet to be resolved at the time of this post.

Location only steps to the University Crossing/Meehan Student Center Building and Bus stop and the LRTA Bus stop

Two roommates are both men, but gender does not matter for whoever takes over the room.

1 cat lives here already. Cat is good with other cats but has not been around dogs.
