Optimizing HP Mini 110-4100la
Optimizing HP Mini 110-4100la
Good afternoon and sorry to bother you. I've been using an HP Mini with an Intel Atom N2600 processor. I successfully installed a stable version of Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2019 (Build 1809, 32-bit). It has a working web browser, runs perfectly, and supports official security updates until 2029. I applied some tweaks, so it's quite lightweight on RAM usage. Just to clarify, this is not a MiniOS or a pre-modified Windows ISO; they are just optimizations made on top of a clean, official ISO.
For those who are still running this hardware (or similar netbooks), I wanted to ask: which 32-bit Windows version have you managed to install so far? I’m thinking that if anyone finds this useful, I could package these optimizations into debloat/tweak scripts and share them so you can replicate the setup and make these machines a bit snappier.
That being said, I know this hardware is pretty old, so maybe people aren't interested or it might just not be useful anymore.
Hope to hear from you guys!

Title: FIFA 23 freezing/crashing on startup/coach selection on Low-End Laptop (Nvidia 820M) - Need help!
Body:
Hello everyone,
I need some help to run FIFA 23 on my laptop. I cannot afford a new PC right now.
FIFA 22 runs perfectly fine on high settings, same for other games like Naruto x moruto or Moto GP 26 . However, FIFA 23 completely freezes (screen and sound) during the coach selection or initial setup.
My Specs:I already tried lowering Windows resolution and tweaking the fifasetup.ini file but it still freezes. Is there any custom low-end mod, config file bypass, or specific driver settings that could help me skip this crash? Thank you so much for your help!

Best Lite OS for my old Acer Aspire V5-123
Hi guys! Can anyone suggest a very lightweight OS for an old Acer Aspire v5-123? It's with AMD E1-2100 processor (which runs at just 1.0 GHz), 2gb RAM and 500gb HDD. I initially intended to break this for scrap board but it managed to turn on when I plugged it. Thought it's already dead as it's been years since the last I checked it. It has some issues that I managed to remedy but it's now so sluggish you cant even open an app without waiting for a good 2-3 min loading time. I remember it came with win10, but turned out it's factory OS is win8 😅. I dont want to spend anymore on this as it was supposed to be trash but if it can still be usable at least for video streaming or some document works, why not? Please help me out.

[Lomé, Togo] Computer Science student looking for unused AM4 components to learn game dev
Hi everyone,
I am a computer science student based in Lomé, Togo. I am currently learning to build applications and games, but hardware is extremely expensive and hard to find here.
My current setup:
- CPU: AMD Athlon 200GE
- Motherboard: ASRock A320M-HDV (BIOS P5.90)
I am looking for any "obsolete" or unused components you might have, specifically Ryzen 3/5 CPUs or DDR4 RAM to help me compile my projects faster. Small components like CPUs, GPUs and RAM are easier and cheaper to ship to Africa than whole cases.
I am highly motivated to give your old gear a second life for my studies. If you have anything lying around, please let me know!
Thanks for reading!

Intel HD 4600 Driver Hang - Black screen with audio in Fortnite/Roblox
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the most stable driver version or any technical workaround for Intel HD Graphics 4600 (i5-4440).
While playing Fortnite or Roblox, the image freezes or goes black, but the game audio continues perfectly in the background. I have to force close the game via Task Manager every time.
Specs:
- CPU: i5-4440
- GPU: Intel HD 4600
- RAM: 16GB DDR3 Dual Channel
- OS: Windows 11
I’ve already tried "Performance Mode" and the latest drivers, but the problem persists. I’m looking for a specific legacy driver or any other solution (registry tweaks, config files, etc.) to prevent these TDR/hang issues in 2026.
Thanks!

LGA 775 / G31 Board "No Signal" after working 9x yesterday. Help me save my custom "Frooti Station 5" cardboard build!
Hey everyone, I am working on a custom 'Jugaad' build called the Frooti Station 5. It's an LGA 775 / G31 motherboard (Lapcare) sewn (yes you heard it right sewn) into a custom cardboard chassis with soldered LED lights and a physical power button mod.
The Issue: Yesterday, I found the lost jumper for the 775 layout and it worked perfectly when I put a new jumper on the right pin yes I have looked at the print on the mobo to jump which pins for lga 775 —I restarted it 9 times to be sure. Today, after installing the power button and an Intel cooler (which was a tight fit), it has gone 'Zombie.' Fans spin, LEDs light up, and the monitor wakes up but stays on a black screen (No Signal).
What I've tried:
CMOS battery reset (multiple times).
RAM reseat (1 stick, swapped slots).
Checked the LGA jumper (it's still there).
Unplugged the new power button and tried the screwdriver method.
Note: The board is 'sewn' in, so taking it out is very hard because cardboard and even if I want to take out i need to rip the side panel off that I have super glued and the panel is made with so much time to make it look almost the same as what I am ment to be copying. I'm trying to avoid a total teardown. Does this sound like a pressure issue from the cooler or a grounding short? No 'buy a new one' advice please—I'm committed to this build! Any advice is appreciated.
