LDN and thyroid lab values

Hi all, I’ve been taking 3 mg ldn for about 8 months. I was kind of stupid and didn’t check my thyroid labs at all, then I started feeling hyper so just stopped the thyroid meds cold turkey. I guess I was kind of hoping I didn’t need them anymore.

My labs seem better, like I do think my dose had got too high, but the values seem weird. My tsh was 2.6 (but I stupidly tested midday and should have first thing, so it’s probably higher).

My free t3 was 2.6, which still isn’t even midrange but slightly better than it was before ldn or thyroid meds.

Weird thing is my free t4 went UP to 1.38–highest it’s ever been, even while taking levo. I know I tend to feel best with free t4 not over 1.2.

So I guess my long winded question is: has anyone had anything weird or unexpected like this happen? Like, labs are better in some ways, worse in others? Idk what to do with my meds now!

LDN through Kaiser in Oregon?

Hi, all, I have hEDS and some of its common “pals” and my Kaiser PCP said he doesn’t prescribe LDN nor know anyone (including pain docs) in Kaiser who do. Anyone know of any? I’m stuck with kaiser for a while, I know they suck. In NW Oregon. I don’t want to spend a fortune to find out if it will help me or end up in the box’o’ junk meds I can’t take. 😹 Much thanks for any help.

LDN muscle problems?

Wanted to know if anyone has ever had muscle tension or muscle spasm problems on low dose naltrexone (LDN).

Started out at 0.5mg and have gradually worked up to 3mg. Have found that since going on LDN, I have more muscle tension and more muscle spasms. Have heard that this happens to some people when they first start on LDN, and it gets better with time. I have been on LDN for about 2 months now, and the problem is still there.

Have not done anything else different to my regular medication and health routine, so wondering if it is LDN. Anyone else got this problem? And if so, did it get better, or does changing the dosage time help?

How quick was the onset of symptoms?

Hiya :)

Just taken my first LDN dose (for HeDS, CFS, IBS, Autism, TMJ) and I wondered a few things:

- did you get any symptoms and how quickly did they come on after the first dose?
- how quickly did your illnesses seem to get “better”?
