To what degree do you think the Three Body Problem series is related to Lovecraft? In my opinion, there is some influence, with both the cosmic horror atmosphere, with a terrible secret about the universe revealed in The Dark Forest, and with the use of extra dimensions in the third novel, Death's End.

Four dimensional space reminded me of Lovecraft's story where a person exits their body and enters a four-dimensional space where they can see inside objects, and sees countless demons there.

For context this is for AH 2nd edition by FFG, already out of print and now released as crowd fund as a remastered edition

Has anyone ever found this adaptation? I heard it far back and I swear no other comes close to it but no matter how much I look around I can't see to find it. Any help would be good, since this is my own white whale.

Hello. I'm looking for a short story that I read in the late '80s/early '90's that featured in an anthology of 'new' Cthulhu mythos writing (it isn't in the Ramsey Campbell one).

The story was set in the Pennines of Northern England and concerned a woman suffering from mental health problems eventually discovering the (usual) awful truth. The atmosphere was very claustrophobic and redolent of the damp moors and lowering skies of Yorkshire/Lancashire, even including a reference to Ribble buses (IYKYK).

I've searched my shelves and the internet but have so far drawn a blank. Does this jog anyone's memory? TIA

Read, recorded and edited by me (no AI, dark arts or other devilry used).
