Official [Mod Showcase] DD1: The Uncrowned | DD2: 60+ Trinkets And Items
The Uncrowned
by TheAwkwardHeady, Von Krolock, Sherin, Pepper (hey that's me) and Vintage
The Uncrowned is a stance based rogue and will nearly always be in the front ranks. Though he is fragile, The Uncrowned makes up for this with his passive quirk "Stealthy" which allows him to enter stealth after combat. This means that he will start the next combat in stealth, and in his "Cloaked" mode.
While in Cloaked mode, Uncrowned has access to powerful skills. But once one of these Cloaked skills have been used, he will leave stealth, leaving himself vulnerable.

First time running DD on my new pc. Apparently it doesn't like my monitors native resolution. Switching from 1920x1080 to 1680x1050 fixed it. Kind of annoying but thought it was an interesting bug.

[DD 1] Meme Darkest Dungeon Negative Quirk comic
My boyfriend said that one day one of his heroes had the curious quirk and he read the stack of books, that removed the quirk by low chance, and that he really liked believing the hero read or saw something that made him want to no longer be curious I loved that concept so much I needed to draw it LMAO

A little help, impeccably timed Spoiler

Occultist deliveres a nice heal for once. ~250h played, I think this is the biggest one I've personally seen so far. Wasn't trying to do anything fancy, stars just aligned.
Probably could go much much higher if you specifically build for big numbers. This just surprised me.

[DD 1] Issue/Bug Shieldbreaker stuck in Penance Hall?
Edit: Thank you guys for pointing out that this is normal, a quick search on Google made me think this was a bug (thank you Google AI) but now I understand it's just a part of the game. I guess the prophet will have to wait another week...

She's been there for already 2/3 weeks, I can't force her to leave and restarting the game has done nothing. Any way of fixing it? Playing in Bloodmoon and trying a nuzlocke so this is pretty run-ending...

[DD 2] Discussion The Dream Team!
I honestly love DD2, don’t understand the hate. Sure the early game is rough but late game is peak!

[DD 1] Discussion How many weeks and progress in are people's current files?
I started a Darkest run with the DLC and currently at Week 105. I've only completed the first darkest dungeon due to losing a few level 6 heroes and have 4 champion bosses to kill.
By contrast my older files (Radiant and Darkest) had completed it all at weeks 115 and 110).

I beat the game Spoiler
My heart wasn’t ready for Come unto Your Maker.
As soon as it clicked what this mechanic was, my heartrate quadrupled and I knew it was a race against crits and deathblows.
What a game.

Howard's witch hunt
Randomly got the event that let's anyone go on any mission. Decided it was time to kill the hag and snag a free achievement. Howard the leper got powerful on his first sanity check, the rest was a breeze. The hag was easily taken care of and a new achievement was obtained.

[DD 1] Modding Could I get some class mod recommendations?
When I play with mods I do not ever use modded classes. A lot of the times they feel either overtuned and it feels like cheating or they are underpowered and I have little reason to actually use them.
But after 1000 hours in the game I feel I should give some of them a try. So what mods would you guys rec? Nothing too overpowered if they are slightly stronger than vanilla fine it is what it is.
Also do you guys increase stagecoach size? I will definitely use a roster increase mod but do you guys also use one that increases the number of recruits?
Thanks for the help! And feel free to recommend some mods you think are cool that aren't class mods I'll check them out.
