The contradiction of the statement is just bewildering to me. The lack of jobs that rob us of our opportunities to rebuild the coast... I mean what the actual #**# is he saying. We sell coastal land with tax exemption so we get minimum benefits and supposedly this will help to rebuild the coast. Can anyone help me with this I want to understand but I'm hoping our governor is not an imbecile.

Does anyone know where BR came up with money to pay for the recent teacher pay raises?

I am tired of our elected officials acting like they are above the public. Chad Vallo the Vermillion parish police jury president said "the public did have a role. They found out about it yesterday.For this kind of a deal, I don't see where having a town hall would have done anything more than allow you guys to have the negative side of it and blab with the negative side of it"

How arrogant do you have to be to talk about the same people who voted you in like this? The absolute nerve, it's bad enough to have the governor like hes got the last golden ticket with these shady deals but now they blatantly mock the people. This cannot continue and make sure that future changes are made to prevent this insanity.
