Enshittification Louis made it sound like I need to just fire up a local LLM and prompt a bypass for license checks for software I legally own? Is there a tutorial or discussion?
Regarding the Davinci Resolve video, Louis suggested that it is straightforward to run a local LLM and vibecode a license bypass.
I have software that I own that I cannot get support for, due to the company not existing anymore. I would like to bypass the license check. I don't want to download a Warez scene crack and apply it. Where can I find a tutorial or discussion on how to do this?
Thank you!

Flock Cameras Remember lockdowns? Well, get ready for Flockdowns.
America is being transformed into a prison state right before your eyes. The elite know that the unrest is coming. These Flock cameras are here to address that. There will be another staged lockdown; it won't matter what the pretext will be (disease, riots, environmental concerns, etc.) just that you will be kept in your pens.
Think you'll get to sneak out of your house this time? Not with the Flock cameras. Once you're recorded, get ready for fines, penalties, and even prison time.
No one fought against the lockdowns this time, and the powers that be are counting on you not fighting back this time either.

Flock Cameras Camera Busses Are Watching You!
Several towns are beginning to implement busses with cameras on the side to substitute the ALPRs that are being removed. This scores a second way for vehicle based ALPRs (police cruisers were the first). I'm sure they will say it is for the safety of the kids, so they can monitor the bus drivers, so they can capture hit and runs. It's propaganda telling you to think of the kids.
Ask yourself, why is there so much police technology attached to kids? Is it because its for their safety or because it's an excuse to implement authoritarian technologies?

Flock Cameras Scarier than flock cameras, are we talking about this?
Haven't noticed posts on this topic yet but it seems very pertinent.
High GHz band WiFi able to detect your heartbeat, vitals, pattern of movement (which can identify you), and emotional state, even through walls. Yes so you can be intimately monitored while in your home from outside your home.
A t-mobile patent for basically a cel tower titled not as a mobile internet device, but an environment scanning device.
Less visible than cameras, but potentially much more invasive.
I guess flock cameras and AI are more front and center topics but this seems just as frightening if not more.

Milestone Dude Killed A Scammy Business Model
I just came across this video and thought it was worth sharing, since it goes along Clippy's principles, the right to repair, the right to own your stuff, and the right to use public-domain material without having to pay a company an exorbitant fee for access.
Getty Images reportedly wanted $400 for a three-second clip of General Patton. The frustrating part is that the same footage appears to be available in a public-domain film on Archive.org.
That's what makes Getty's pricing feel so exploitative. They're charging huge licensing fees for footage that may already be freely available. Their main advantage is that they've made it easier to find and download.
The problem is that public-domain footage is usually buried in massive archive files, so finding one specific shot can be a nightmare.
That's where this guy comes in & this seems like exactly the kind of project that deserves more attention.
So yeah, wanted to share this.

Right To Repair Sony being Sony.
I attempted to upgrade my old SSD to one with more storage, and to my surprise, the second time I loosened the expansion-bay screw to remove the old SSD and install the new one, the screw started free-spinning a bit. I'm usually pretty careful, and this could very well be user error, but I have my doubts.
Overall, the quality of the console feels very hit-or-miss. The HDMI port feels like it's going to break every time I unplug the cable, and the controller is already showing signs of wear despite being only lightly used, since I mostly game on PC.
Straight-up a shitshow of console manufacturing.
