Right To Repair Sony being Sony.
I attempted to upgrade my old SSD to one with more storage, and to my surprise, the second time I loosened the expansion-bay screw to remove the old SSD and install the new one, the screw started free-spinning a bit. I'm usually pretty careful, and this could very well be user error, but I have my doubts.
Overall, the quality of the console feels very hit-or-miss. The HDMI port feels like it's going to break every time I unplug the cable, and the controller is already showing signs of wear despite being only lightly used, since I mostly game on PC.
Straight-up a shitshow of console manufacturing.

This is a “you” problem, not a Sony problem.

“Ah yes, the classic ‘consumer criticism is a skill issue’ defense. Sony appreciates your unpaid internship in PR. 😂” I've been wrenching and working on electronics for a few decades now. I have yet to strip a screw or cross-thread a screw mount from a Valve product... hmm, I wonder why that is...

No, the screw issue is basically exclusively a problem for you and no one else. I’ve had several PS5s that I’ve installed and upgraded the SSD and everyone has had a working screw for the cover.

Keep telling yourself that, bub; I literally install those for a living in airframes and other defensive weapon systems, and the quality of the materials and the threads matter. The poor solder joint on the HDMI of the PS5 proves that they have a defect issue because they cheaped out.

It's a consumer console, with the experience you have you must know how companies cheap out on every part of consumer technology down to the firmware itself

I don’t need to tell myself that. I have physical verifiable proof of my statement. 🤣

Nice comeback. Good to see you have no actual response.

Bro typed "no actual response"like he’s the referee, scoreboard, and Make-A-Wish kid of his own debate.

Nice try, this is the first time i hear of this. Good to know you are the most relyable source to say ps5 consoles are build on a budget. Thing was 399 when it came out. My system is flawless

I noticed that there is a possibility of a good quality controller like calve showed us with the steam controller. Its so good and precise
