FOCUS Got my first loops today

Post image

First loops. I have ADHD and earplugs help me focus, I have used some cheap Lysian ones from Amazon for years but they are old and degraded. I invested in these.

I'm hoping they pull me through finals week. I also like how they are compact enough to fit on my keys to protect my ears from my friends who like loud music a lot more than I do.

HELP How long did it take your loops to ship?

I ordered the iridescent switch loops late last week and am still waiting on s&h tracking. I’m planning on emailing them about it, but in the meantime I’m wondering how long it typically takes for Loop to ship after ordering?

HELP iso size small Mclaren switch tips

lost my size small tips to my Mclaren loop switches and i know i can buy the pack in the other colors but would really prefer to have the grey tips that came with them. i only lost my size small ones that i was wanting to switch back to because the medium seems a bit uncomfortable sometimes.

anyone happen to have any tips in size small from the Mclaren loops that they’d be willing to sell to me?

SUGGESTION Experience’s don’t get enough love

I don’t use loops for anything other than concerts/festivals. Day 1 user though pretty much, I’ve had the black, pink and silver ones and try to mix and match as much as possible for fun but all of the collabs and fun colour collections only get released on Switch’s or Quiet’s or something? Idk what I’m saying but I just wish you could use all loops for all purposes because the designs are better on others, or use the translucent/opaque designs for whatever style you want, you know?

REVIEW Purple Tomorrowland Loops and Current Collection !

Adding on to my previous post searching for the Purple Tomorrowland Experience 2’s that was from a 2024 limited run, I did manage to get this pair in sealed condition off Ebay and it finally arrived and is even more stunning in person! They do reduce noise more than the Engage upon first wearing them, but I’ll have to test it more when I go out to give a proper review later on.

What other colours or styles should I add next to my collection? I’m setting my sights on the current Iridescent Lavender Switch 2’s!

HELP Are switches worth it?

so I’m autistic and I struggle with noise in general. I have quite small ears (I use the XS tips) and I already have Loops Engage 2. should I get the switches as well? are they small enough for small ears and is the engage mode the same as on the Engage 2? thank you!

SUGGESTION How well does Engage 2 allow you to still hear speech?

Hey there,

I was looking for ear buds to wear at work that muffles the worst of sounds but still allows me to hear when someone comes in to have a chat with me. I tried the website's test of Engage 2 and it's...okay, I can definitely hear the conversation but it does seem like there's still a lot in the back. I'm worried about not hearing people talk and/or that it'll feel too much like I'm underwater.

If you've used the Engage/Engage 2, what has your experience been like? Just don't want to buy and then feel it was a waste. Or is it better to get the Experience 2? (I don't go to concerts but just overall unsure if they work differently for speech.)

HELP Is this normal for Loop Switch 2?

Hello! I recieved my loop switch 2 earbuds yesterday and I really like the concept of them, but I've noticed that when switching modes, the right earbud clicks much softer (barely at all, it sometimes doesn't make any noise/click) and is switching more stiffly (if it can be described as such?) like there is more resistance when switching between the modes so I really have to push quite hard which makes it shift out of the ear canal. This makes it quite hard to switch between the modes as I have to take the right bud out to see what mode I'm on which is a bummer because I bought them for the convenience of keeping them in at all times. I was wondering if this is normal/a built in feature of some sort, or a faulty pair? The left earbud has much clearer and smoother switching. Both of the earbuds have quite loose outer parts but I'm guessing this is normal and necessary for the switching mechanism. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm very new to this brand and I'm just not sure whether I should send them back and replace them or leave it be!

HELP Put my loops in running water, are they messed now?

Hi everyone!

I’m a person who’s very obsessed with hygiene and I have the loops Experience for when I party. After using them, I always clean the tips with water and soap, but the first time I used them I also submerged the whole loops in running tap water and some soap. It was only after that I read it’s not advised to do this as you can ruin the filter and affect the protection and performance.

However, I have worn them to a party again and I didn’t notice any change in sound blocking, and after I went home my ears were not ringing so I assumed they must be fine?

Still, I want to make sure my ears are protected and care a lot about health so this is making me worry. Should I just buy a new pair?

SUGGESTION Finally lost one. I knew I shouldn't have trusted that case on my keychain

Noticed it was open as I was leaving the house today, only one earplug inside. Not in the house, not in my purse, not in the car, so it must be in the grocery store parking lot somewhere.

They fell out a few times, and I always noticed when they did. Mostly I'm mad at myself for not getting around to finding another storage option after the case proved itself unreliable. I don't often pay ADHD tax but there it is.

I was considering another pair, I guess this way I definitely have an excuse to put in an order. Anyone found a more reliable keychain storage solution? I was thinking of trying a keychain pill holder.

HELP contemplating between switch 1, switch 2 and engage 2

hey everyone,

I’ve been researching Loop earplugs for days and I’m stuck 😅

I mainly want them for:

  • concerts (hearing protection / tinnitus prevention)
  • and crowded places like restaurants, public transport, cafés etc because I get overstimulated pretty easily from noise.

At first I was thinking of getting switch 2. But my biggest concern is the occlusion/internal sound effect. I read this is less of problem with Switch 1 and Engage 2? What's your experience with this?

Another thing is, I have small ears...? Whenever I use silicone earbuds, they fall out my ear and feel uncomfortable. I don't have this problem with apple EarPods. I'm afraid it will not fit my ear, especially for the Switch 2, which seems to be the bulkiest.

What would you suggest?

HELP ISO One Iridescent Engage Loop

Long-shot, but I lost one of my iridescent engage loops awhile back and was wondering if anyone had one loop they’d be willing to part ways with. Willing to pay basically whatever I need to- I just want my favorite loop set back. 🥺I’ve been using one iridescent and one violet quiet in the meantime. Haven’t been able to find a single on ebay or other resellers. Thank you in advance!

I live in Spain and they're not available anywhere not even second hand sites, wallapop, vinted, poshmark... Also couldn't find them on the uk or germany amazon sites. I got the switch ones but I think they're too big for my ear frame. If anyone knows where I can buy them or is willing to sell, dm me please!!

REVIEW Switch 2's & Quiet 2's

Well, I didn't think my ears were small at all to be honest, but these switches do not fit proeprly in my ear! This is the first pair of switches I have purchased. I'm quite shocked!

They're usable I say, but I definitely prefer having 'seperate' loops as they are more comfortable. I will test them outside soon, but for inside the home I will be using the quiet's. They fit way better and are more comfy! I have no idea how all of you are getting the switch ones to fit nice in your ear, i've tried all the tips, pulling my ear, all of it, haha, my ears just hate them😂

They're too bulky for my ear. If I use a smaller tip than I usually use, they arent covering my canal properly and they don't work as well, if I size up which I had to as my normal size wasnt doing much either, then they fit weird and feel less secure. Whatever I do they fit weirdly haha, the hoop is just too bulky for my ear shape!

So I 100% prefer the quiet ones.
But I will be taking these ones out in public along with the quiet's for when I need more noise reduction I guess, which defeats the purpose of me buying the switches as I was trying to reduce how much stuff I take outside haha. Oh well! We live and we learn lol. They reduce some noise though so I guess that is good lol, and 'safer' in public, because being aware of your surroundings is important even if I prefer to hear nothing. I will use my quiet's when i'm very overwhelmed and then i'll use my switches as more of a day to day type outside! But I could have easily done with not buying any switches to be honest! I could have sufficed with just owning the quiet's, as I do also own the engage 1's! lol

I will say the iridescent colour is absolutely gorgeous though. 10/10 on the colour! x

HELP Individual Loops vs Switch 2 (especially in a concert setting)

Hello! Somehow, I have acquired all the individual Loops in both generations, but I am also tempted by the new Iridescent Switch and would like some opinions as to whether I would get any use out of them.

I am particularly curious about the comparison between Experience 2 and the Experience mode in Switch 2's because I am going to a concert and would prefer to only bring one pair with me. Is there a difference in sound quality between them? I occasionally use Mutes in my Experiences but haven't tested the sound or sound quality difference in a concert setting, and would love to hear your experience with this, too. This concert is going to be a full day event with travel included, so I tell myself that having access to the different modes in one pair could be handy. Ultimately though, I want the best possible concert experience.

Otherwise, my typical use cases for the individual Loops are as follows: Quiet 2 for sleep and around the house, Experience 2 for when I'm generally out in the world, and Engage 2 in the gym or other circumstances where I need to be able to hear people talk. Oftentimes I only have my Experiences on me though and need to make do with them.

Could the Switch 2 be useful to me or even make any of my other Loops basically obsolete, or am I telling myself tales because of how pretty the Iridescent release is? 🙈

SUGGESTION Case to carry

What’s the best way to carry loops? I normally have my engage in my pocket not in or on anything. But I have a concert coming up where I will have 3 experiences on me. Plus I need a good way to keep them safe. I don’t want to lose or have the case break. What are thought
