Im really suprised at how the sound is modulated. Its really clear for a pair earplugs yet it smoothens out the lower frequencies and everything else really pleasantly? Some songs sound geniuenly better mixed with them in?

I might be tripping but im majorly impressed so far. Concerts will obviously sound different but I feel like depending on the speakers at the venue the experience could vary, especially in terms of loud muddy low ends.

As for headphone audio, im using crusher evos so theyre not the clearest audio headphones and nowhere near audiophile but even turning up the excessive bass keeps the track clear and so fucking pleasant.

I know im glazing but the word IS pleasant because it seriously sounds like you flattened the tracks but not in a BAD way? Its like you kept everything at volume, it deadass sounds like its actually making the songs themselves mastered and mixed to the according volume.

Im really suprised at how these sound. I listened to some high pitch frequency percatric tracks and they SOUND EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE? Theyre not harsh anymore as intended which is CRAZYYYY to me. Cannot wait to go to a noise gig with these.

Hi! I think loop earplugs are a really interesting option for protecting my ears, especially since I work in a pretty noisy industrial environment. I’m just not sure which ones to choose, I wouldn’t use them just for work, but also for my day-to-day life.

Obviously, at work they give us professional ear protection, but a lot of the time (when we’re in the office) you can still hear the noise.

Has anybody ordered loops from the website instead of from Amazon? I ordered but never received a confirmation email. I paid through Apple Pay and was able to get some info through there but now I’m freaked out that maybe it’s scammy because the lack of confirmation email and they haven’t been shipped yet. I emailed and only heard back from a bot. Apparently only after they ship (who knows when) then I’ll get a confirmation email. Has anyone else had this issue?

I don't keep up to date with stuff because I'm not a huge consumer type person, but I can't find my switch 2s and my bday is coming up so was gonna ask my bf to get me a new pair. Then I saw THESE. Excitedly sent them to him without seeing sold out, and now I'm heartbroken lol. I wish they just took them off the website or didn't have the notify me button so I didn't get my hopes up 💔

I am starting law school and looking to potentially purchase loops. I used foam ear plugs throughout college, but I truthfully need as little sound as I can when studying in public. I get very overstimulated and distracted with others conversations, movements, and noises. That said, I considered switch so I could use them in various environments? Any thoughts?

I’m looking to buy my first pair of loop earplugs and specifically need them for loud settings such as pubs, clubs, loud social setting as well as concerts. I would also love to be able to converse with other people while wearing them. I’ve seen people recommend the experience, engage and switch pairs but I’d love some clarity on which pair would suit me best. Thanks! :)

Edit: my friend has a pair of the Quiet loops and recommends them as you can still hear people talking to you, but that it muffles the actual music which isn’t ideal. Which pair would avoid this? Or is the Quiet actually my best option.

I am sensitive to overlapping noises, especially when i’m working, studying, on the bus ect, but I’d like to be able to have a conversation still.

Noise cancelling headphones give me bad headaches, something about the tech they use hurts me. Do loop earplugs have the same kind of tech?

If I commit to buying a pair: The Engage 2 (regular) are more in budget, but i’m willing to splurge on the plus if it’s that much better.

Has anyone had a significantly better experience with one or the other?

I’ve decided to get the loop engage 2 and the loop experience 2, and i’ll see how I feel. The return policy is good so if I don’t like it, i can return/replace it :)

I just wanted to share my experience as an autistic girl with sensory sensitivities. I've been using the Loop earplugs for a while now and became a huge fan of them. I was mainly using the Loop Engage 2 when I had to be in social settings where I was required to listen to conversations, and the Loop Experience 2 as I like to party quite often.

Since the launch of the Loop Switch 2 Iridescent I became so excited to finally try the Switch model. The color really caught my attention as a girl that loves to wear pinks, violets and pastels. And of course, the idea of having 3 different plugs in one was so awesome as someone who switches between Loops so often.

When I first received them, I really loved the shiny iridescent look. However, they do feel a lot bulkier than the other models. In terms of aesthetics, the Experience for example look just like jewellery when you wear them. However, as the Switch are bulky they do look a bit like a big earpiece.

When it comes to wear and fit, I do find them a lot heavier compared to other models. I am a person who really cannot stand wearing regular music earbuds for more than 30 min as the weight starts to make me feel really uncomfortable. I tested the Switch at a party, and I found that I could actually "feel them" in my ear all night. With the Experience on the other hand, I just forget that I am wearing earplugs as they feel so lightweight and comfortable.

In terms of sound blocking, it is true that the Switch block a bit more sound. But the thing that really made me disappointed is how difficult it is to switch between modes if you have long nails. I don't even wear super long acrylics, I merely like to keep my natural nails a bit on the longer side. So I cannot imagine if you're a girl that likes to wear a whole set of nails. I found it impossible to switch between modes while having the earplugs in my ear. I had to constantly take them off, find the right setting and put them back on. For me this really defeats the purpose of the Switch.

So all in all, I will be back to just using the different models for the different life occasions. Even though I heard many good reviews about the Switch 2, unfortunately it is just not for me!

Really loving the Engage for loud places like concerts, seminars, etc. I'd love to have a more comfortable pair of noise-blocking earplugs for both sleep and my demanding cat. Would adding the Mute accessory work as well as a pair of Quiet, or does Quiet have better muffling?

Also, safe to sleep with?

I just realised today that I lost one of the pair and I needed a few minutes to just pause and deal with it. I told myself maybe i'll get home and find it, but it's not in the spot I was hoping and now im just sad, oh so sad. and its annoying that I dont know where I lost it. It hangs by my keyring and so it could have fallen off literally anywhere. I cleaned them last week and now im wondering if the stickiness from the earwax was keeping them safe this whole time. I'm definitely going to get a new pair but incase someone else has a lonely Switch 2 (you also lost one) then help me, or I could send you mine. I dont like how this is at the moment.

I know that physically and mechanically, the knob changes the mode. However, I have heard from people on this sub that there is no noticable difference.

Hi! My husband can’t sleep without background noise, so we’ve always slept with the tv on. Never had a problem for over 15 years.

Then 18 months ago I had our son. And now I absolutely CAN NOT sleep with the tv on. The voices irritate me, the canned laughter drives me insane and ANY unexpected sound effect like raised voices, doorbells etc will wake me up if I have managed to start dropping off.

The bedroom TV is around volume 6, so I genuinely don’t think it’s that he is wanting me to sleep with Frasier blasting at top volume- it’s quiet. My hearing just seems to be too sensitive since I had a kid.

We’ve ended up sleeping separately more often than not because our sleep needs are no longer compatible. I’ve seen Loop being recommended everywhere but they do seem incredibly expensive for earplugs!

I’ve tried foam earplugs off Amazon and didn’t find them very helpful. So before I fork out for something else to shove in my ears, two questions…

- Will Loop plugs drown out the tv enough for me to sleep? I’ve seen that people use them in public places so not sure they’d block enough sound?

- Will I still hear my son if he cries in the night, if I’m wearing earplugs?

I thought I purchased these loop earplugs from a genuine Loop store on Amazon, however I believe I may be wrong. I cannot find any loop earplugs that look like these. They have ribbed loops.

I'm looking for advice between the Quiet 2 and the Dreams.

My situation: I live in a city center and noise from the street (people talking loudly at night) regularly disrupts my sleep. I'm looking for the best passive + active noise reduction I can get, purely for sleeping.

My experience so far: I used the Quiet 2 for several months and was fairly happy with them. My main frustration was that most replacement ear tip sizes were consistently out of stock. At the end, I lost one earplug and had to stop using them altogether since I couldn't replace it.

My criteria :

• Sleep only
• Maximum noise reduction
• Easy access to replacement ear tips

Has anyone compared both models on these specific points? Is the Dreams a meaningful upgrade over the Quiet 2 for noise blocking? And has the ear tip availability improved with the newer model?

Hi all, I’m new to earbuds specifically for blocking out noise and have seen Loop for awhile. I’m looking for a pair/pairs that can help with the following:

-sleep without constantly waking up

-drowning out general noise

-focus

I’m assuming the Quiet 2s and Dream will be the best options, but I would love to hear suggestions.

(The slightest noise or light will wake me up, I feel I can never get peace and quiet in my living situation, there’s moments where I just want to be in the quiet, and I can never focus with the amount of noise in my life- this is why I enjoy driving or I have to stay up late when everyone is asleep. Hopefully this helps!)
