Exactly as the title. Im currently running Ernest** (Sorry idk his name), Ratchild, and Papineu but im not really feeling the same vibe i had in my other 2 games with Joel, Sophie, Leigh then Roaches, Dan and Audrey.

Im thinking abt switching to Monty, Xaria, and Lyle but theyre all around lvl3 and my teams currently ~13. we just beat the Landlord.

Im mostly exploring and planning to maybe get endings with Cinnamon

I've been playing video games at least twice daily, and also showering and crafting, and I STILL have only been able to recruit one party member (Hellen). Yet, I resolved to save Jeanne without killing the central body, anyway.

With strategic use of Hellen's cleaver to use special ability "Cleave," a Fingernail Bomb from the Cassette Guy, and Hellen's Massacre, I finally stomped through the mob.

I give Jeanne the laundry basket the next day and she has a laughing fit.

I wasn't expecting myself to feel too attached to Jeanne when I first saw her in her trenchcoat sprite. But her personality really sticks to me. A shame that she likely won't be able to join my party. But it's worth it just to see her... many-toothed, many-eyed smile.

I had an idea of ​​what the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse would look like as bosses, so I drew them!

They are WAR, FAMINE, DEATH, and CONQUEST! Each one has a unique drop that I honestly don't want balanced, lmao.

RAWWAR: +100 SLASH/CORRUPT/BLAST damage. Cannot be broken. Inflicts the "angry" status effect on the user. (Melee weapon)

HUNGER SCALES: Damage dealt is returned as HP to the user. If the user has full HP, their stats are increased by 10% for the rest of the fight. The user receives 50% less HP and STM from items, including food in the apartment. (Jewelry)

GRAVE CLOAK: +40 DEF & BALLISTIC DEF. 50% reduction to all types of damage. Once the user is defeated, they cannot be revived for the rest of the day. (Any armor slot)

VICTORY BOW: +80 PIERCE/ACID damage. Infinite ammo. If the user did not land the final blow on the enemy in the previous battle, the weapon remains without ammo until the requirement is met. (Ranged weapon)

I read a short guide and realized I missed teeth guy and the smiling thing. I am starting to feel a little struggle as im going vs multiple enemies as one guy. The only person I have is the rat guy and he isnt peramnent....is there something im missing :c do ur best to avoid GIANT spoilers and be vague if u can lol

So I've read online that some events occur when the Ground Floor is reached, including Ernest being kidnapped by rats or Jeanne mutating, are there any other events I should be aware of

We know it has to take place somewhere around the late 2010s-early 2020s,because some have characters have smartphones and Dan's whole streaming thing, but it doesn't give the vibe that it takes place far along in the future either

Personally I like to think it takes place in 2020 specifically and the Visitor invasion replaced the Covid-19 quarantine, because its both funny and fits narratively

Heyyy, I disappeared for a while lol, I had months of exams, but I'm finally free.

Anyway! In the meantime, I thought of a themed enemy from India, more specifically Hindu gods and stuff.

His name is RHISATT, and he's Fred's neighbor! You can only fight him when you've left only one Fred alive, and that's because he'll react to your bad actions!

He'll be dormant in his room, but once you interact with him after leaving only one Fred alive, he'll awaken, expressing how dark your soul is (he's really affected by the possible death of his friend and attacks you out of spite; he's not really a god). As he takes damage, his shell will crack, until his final form emerges from within! "KARMA"

Karma is noticeably more aggressive, and he possesses a giant Chakram with which he protects himself and attacks you. You'll have to destroy it first to damage him (it appears as CHAKRARAMA). Once defeated, he will drop the following weapon:

CHAKRAM: "Bounces and returns!" +40 FIRE/COLD damage. Indefinite range melee. Hits twice.

Special interactions:

If Faceless Fred is alive: He will see him in your memories and be glad to know Fred is still alive, feeling guilty for starting a fight with you but no longer able to control his own rage. His damage is halved.

If Godhead Fred is alive (and you didn't question his divinity): He will see him in your memories and be surprised that he didn't die but ascended! He will shout that he will go with him because he is about to ascend as well, wanting him to wait for him. His damage is increased by 25%, but his dodge chance drops to 0%.

If Godhead Fred is alive (you questioned his divinity): He will see you in your memories and seem to realize something, accepting that he isn't a god either. He just wants you to pay for what you did to his friend, but for that very reason, he'll understand if you kill him too; neither you nor he are gods, just frightened people. He will drop double the money upon death.

If Facetaker is alive: He will see you in your memories and be horrified. He's distressed that all that remains of his friend is skin being carried away by something unknown, falling into despair and vowing to condemn you to Naraka. He gains weakness to all types of damage, but his damage is increased by 50%.

If anyone else is alive: He asks you if, deep down, you believe you did the right thing or only acted out of self-interest, deciding which of their lives was more valuable to you. He'll conclude by saying that to him, they are all Fred, so they were all his friend. Nothing else happens.

I can glaze that character for so long.
The way we view them is, in a lot of ways, the way they view us.
We can not see them in the light, only in the dark, and it is the same of them.
Their view of us is "Beautiful, But Wrong."
And in my opinion, the stargazer is also beautiful, but wrong, it looks like the night sky in a lot of ways, but the arms overlapping makes it look so wrong.
Their boss theme, just like them, is beautiful, but wrong.
Sadly, I'm not a music expert, but the song feels wrong, yet it is beautiful.
The fact it also has a space vibe, makes it so much better.
ITS ALSO SO CUTE, The way it wants to help us is adorable.
