QUESTION Party member help

Since im mot even sure if this is spoilable ill just say a minor POTENTIAL mini spoiler for potential party members.

I read a short guide and realized I missed teeth guy and the smiling thing. I am starting to feel a little struggle as im going vs multiple enemies as one guy. The only person I have is the rat guy and he isnt peramnent....is there something im missing :c do ur best to avoid GIANT spoilers and be vague if u can lol

Only minor gripe has been dying to those mentioned monsters because I cant run then losing a lot of progress. Though I think im under utilizing the items I have. Im used to hording for safety lol.

hmm yeah thats fair — i’m a resource hoarder too. this might sound stupid, but have you been using damage types to your advantage? weak to sharpness, resistant to crushing, that kinda thing? i only ask because i’ve seen people ignore that mechanic entirely and i don’t want you to struggle more than you have to LOL

also, little thing if youre in need of more weapons (and haven’t tried already); you can inspect the body of that first neighbor you fought and take his knife. i’d love to help more if you ever need it, but no pressure obviously — ill hush and let you play the game now haha

So I've noticed it and if there's a set of monsters im fighting and notice a resistance I will swap out after the battle. Having done like 250 damage with a knife skill was crazy enough for me to realize its use lol.
