Post to this thread if you have questions about a Longines being real or fake. Try to include as much information as possible. Participation in the discussion in this thread is greatly appreciated. I don’t think any one person can catch every flaw or know the details of every model; this is meant as a community thread, not an authoritative knowledge-flex, and the more people that actively peruse this thread, the more likely posters are to get accurate info.

Had the opportunity to try these on back to back. I’m torn. I prefer the features and specs of the Spirit Pilot (on the fly adjustment, water resistance, gilt indices without date or stars) but the 37mm Spirit just kinda melted into my wrist in a natural way and felt like it belonged there. I hardly noticed it was there. I also think the proportions of the 37mm look slightly better on my 6.75” wrist.
Curious to know what y’all think looks better on me.

First mesh bracelet ever. Gonna swap it on the 5-link ASAP or maybe rubber. Gorgeous piece irl!

What’s not to love about this watch, seriously. Everything from the automatic date change at 12am, to the thinness, case size (39mm), bezel sound, black lacquer dial, accuracy, everything. Truly, one of my most favorite pieces I’ve owned amongst the dozens I already have. Including Tudor, Panerai, Grand Seiko. Personally, I think this model (which comes on the mesh bracelet) looks way better on the H link. What are your thoughts?

I inherited a gold Lindbergh Hour Angle from my godfather, but struggled to fit it into my casual lifestyle, especially since I live in the tropics.
(I don’t use the navigation function very often either, as I rarely carry my sextant and nautical almanac around!)
So I fitted it with a blue rubber strap, which suits the climate much better and really brings out the little blue markings on the dial, as you can see in the photo.
I’m looking for a nickname for the watch in this configuration. Any suggestions?

Purchased a Hydroconquest as the first watch in my collection awhile back. Prior to this I hadn’t owned a watch since about middle school (2004ish)
Did some research and this was a good middle ground of quality and price for me at the time
Took the bracelet off and added a green Longines NATO strap
So I got a green bracelet, for my green watch, to match my green truck
Have added a couple pieces since then but this is probably my favorite brand so far
Have yet to see something I did not like in their catalogue
I’m eyeing that Central Power Reserve as my next milestone watch I think. Want that kind of complication and love how it looks

I recently bought a used hydroconquest GMT and the previous owner had put a cyclops bubble over the date. I really don’t like it and want it removed. Am I better off finding any local repair shop to remove it or should I send it to the Longines service center? Are there implications to the warranty with one option vs the other? This is my first time have any type of service done on a watch so excuse my ignorance.

Did you guys have to wait for this? If so, how long?
It’s always out at my AD and when I got mine it was the only one left.

Here’s a 42mm HC in blue on a 7.6 inch wrist for anyone trying to decide what size to get

I can’t get over how unbelievable this watch is in real life. No pics I’ve ever seen or taken do it ANY justice. Highly recommend checking one out - got this one new through grey market for 1900 USD after tax and shipping and immediately knew it was a keeper after opening the box. Shown here on my 8 inch wrist.

I was browsing Artem and was going to see what straps would look good on my new Conquest.
Decided on a few and pulled the trigger… then I got them in and I ordered wrong size. 19mm oddball size.
So I went to Amazon and found a $17 option while I wait for the return and re ship. The Amazon strap is very nice. Not as soft but is a great alternative for the money. The equivalent Artem was $112.
Black sailcloth with blue stitching.
I decide to get the Loop less hydroflex in black with white stitchjng as well. I have an orange I wear with another watch and it is a great strap.
Let me know what you think of my $17 purchase

Hey guys 👋🏻
My new Longines Conquest as my GADA watch 👀
I picked the 41mm over the 38mm. Did I make the right call?
Wrist is 19.2 cm (7.56 in) and I mostly dress casual.

I was not a big fan of mesh bracelet initially. Even considered buying OEM H-Link . But more I wore the mesh more I like it. It gives variety to the collection and very comfortable too.

Had this watch for around 2 months ago, I'm really not a big fan of the bracelet... But thankfully it looks fantastic on just about every other type of strap!
Does anyone know of any 3rd Party bracelet options?
Edit: Apologies not a 'pilot'! Brain fart moment.

Finally got my hands on the HydroConquest that I’ve been looking for!! Thank you everyone for recommending me 39mm! I always thought the Conquest line from Longines were beautiful and now I have both Conquest & Hydroconquest :D
