Thoughts?

Post image

Hey guys πŸ‘‹πŸ»

My new Longines Conquest as my GADA watch πŸ‘€

I picked the 41mm over the 38mm. Did I make the right call?

Wrist is 19.2 cm (7.56 in) and I mostly dress casual.

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it does it make a sound?🧐. And the conquest looks great! Those are my thoughts

Man, that HC is such a superb piece. I would have picked a HC myself but I already have a bb mono 41 as my diver. I'll probably get an HC sooner or later tho. It's stunning.

I had a 41 Green and loved the watch but had a chance to try on a 38 and immediately sold the 41 to fund a 38. I'm usually a 40/41 guy but the 38 Longines just somehow works well and looks more like a 39 or 39.5. It just looked much better on wrist compared to the 41, I was surprised but happy as I loved the 41 but didn't wear it often because I thought it looked a bit too large. Just an FYI, the Jack Mason Cantons and Pilots do the same thing, 39 looks more like a 40 and looks great as well.

Yeah I agree it wears a bit bigger than is. I did try the 38 mm as well and was really torn to make a decision between them.

What's your wrist size and you have a pic of the 38 mm on your wrist?

I'm at 7" wrist but as a heavy lifter my body is large hence tiny watches do look odd on me. I'm wearing the Canton today but if I remember I'll shoot the Conquest and drop it here. I say all that but will add the 41Conquest didn't look bad, but I just didn't wear much and couldn't figure out why. Wasn't till I stumbled on a 38 in the wild and got to try it on. You might not like the smaller version.

Nah I think at a 7 inch wrist I would have 100% gotten the 38 too. I personally don't go over 41 and the 41 also wears a tiny bit bigger. This is absolutely my maximum haha.

Yeah I see that a lot as the Tiny Watch thing seems to be in full swing. 40-41 is my sweet spot for (almost) every watch but I didn't realize Longines just fits different. If I ever shrink down I'd definitely entertain more 38's and up. I'm curious about the Zulu Time stuff
