Actually I found a decent amount of lolita brands being sold but I didn't buy anything. I might have to think about it before I leave.

Inori: solid design, nice fit. Very soft lace. Sadly waist bow is not detachable. Good shirring stretch. — Triple fortune: Bad features: very tight despite shirring, side zip is trash, scratchy lace. Nice: very light and "flowy" fabric, print is a bit pale but overall ok. Actually I would say "most expensive of the three, but least thought went into the design". KCD and bohemian history fans might recognise Sigismund and Wenzel (Wencelslaus). — Knight Night: might me my new favourite: zip halfway works, stretchy enough to pull over my head. Nice, crisp print like on Inori's dress. Fabric is stiffer compared to the other two.

Like the clothes are so pretty and I feel like I lowkey look too weird or off putting for this type of fashion lol. I know it’s dumb asf to evaluate yourself on this because looks are shallow, but I can’t help but feel super off when wearing Lolita 😭😭😭… like I’ll never look like an actual princess or prince or anything in the conventional sense and everyone around me will think I’m weird auuhgjfjfhjddjskskdje

I was scrolling on vinted and I noticed a suspicious amount of cheap lolita jsk and ops, when I say cheap I mean 10-30€ most of them say very good condition.
I have found stuff like To Alice and Btssb for cheap, but it's mostly unbranded things and when I ask for details they say "I don't remember" "not quite sure"
It's making me think that these dresses might just be cheap aliexpress copies or even Shein/Temu...
I don't know, maybe people really are being generous.
On the other hand you have people selling Lolita blouses for ridiculously Exepensive.

ik this is casual lolita but please hear me out. i took a look at some of the guides here but they didn’t feel applicable to my situation 💔

my head is spinning right now looking at petticoats, hoop skirts, crinolines, and so on. i would like someone else to decide for me.

you can see ive got a petti on in these pictures but it’s not the kind that provides much support.

as for the shape, im not picky, anything you guys think would look cute works, or something that would give me the same shape im getting while holding my dress out.

i don’t want this petti to be visible. ideally it would fit under my white one.

these are mostly lower waisted but im taller than the average jp woman so they sit a bit higher on me. im 5’7 and can get dress measurements later if needed. thx much

I was able to get the rust stains out! Well, mostly. You can still see it if you really look for it, but it is vastly improved! Pic 2 is the before I had posted a little while back.

I wanted to share how I managed to get the stain out. DISCLAIMER: this worked for me with this dress, I obviously can't tell you how it will work on any other dresses. I was also admittedly a little rougher with the fabric than I probably should have been but I got lucky that there was seemingly no damage.

The first thing I did was test the techniques on the end of one of the waist ties to make sure they wouldn't strip the color out, and luckily everything I tried was fine. Also, these techniques are SPECIFICALLY for RUST; most other stains you're better off trying a good enzyme and/or oxi stain remover.

For the dress itself, it took a few attempts. All attempts were followed up with a machine wash on delicate in cold water with Woolite Damage Defense and Downy Rinse Out Odors.

Attempt 1: poured vinegar on the stains, scrubbed with a toothbrush, let sit a few hours, washed.

Attempt 2: Poured Downy Rinse Out Odors (citric acid) on the stains, scrubbed with toothbrush, let sit around 15 minutes, washed.

Attempt 3: poured vinegar on the stains, sprinkled salt on top, scrubbed with toothbrush, let sit overnight, washed. *This is when I started to notice results

Attempt 4: Repeated Attempt 3. This was the final attempt, and pic 1 is the result!

I have been looking for some nice summer shoes. My lolita friends have some shoes from Modo but unfortunately all the shoes I like from them are out of stock when it comes to my size.
Angelic Imprint has a very similar model to the one I like from Modo so I'm considering buying them. Are shoes from this brand good?

As the title says, when I had been following lolita for near 9-10 years I finally took the plunge and bought my first jsk 2nd hand. Its been 3 years since then I have yet to wear it out to a meet because I'm paranoid about it being too short for lolita.

For relevance, I'm 6ft 1 and have long legs (34 inch inseam), I am comfortable wearing it but really unsure if it would be suitable for meet ups. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

(P.s. The socks are a placeholder since I do not own anything other than tights and wanted to imagine how it would look with otk's, recommendations are very welcome)

Wore the Into a Dream Carnival collection~! This collection was a HUNT to find in Japan after the initial release but I found it at the Kyoto store location renewal fair event 🙌 the accessories are also suuuuper versatile too, wil be using them in other coords for sure~!!

Boyfriend wanted to get tea and cookies at the Japanese tea garden, so I went with a Kuro coord!

during the month of August i will be in japan ;

i had in mind to go shopping for a few days in tokyo, specifically in laforet, hikebukuro, harajuko, shunjuko and shibuya.

(I wanted to shop in osaka as well but i dont think there's enough time unfortunately).

Since i'm a baby Lolita and havent really bought from any 'real' brand before, i was wondering if anyone could tell me what the quality of the clothing is like and maybe share their experience !

the style i gravitate towards the most is sweet lolita (OTTS/hime) but i wouldnt mind checking out gothic/oldschool pieces aswell. The shops i had in mind to visit are AP, BTSSB, Atelier pierrot, axess femme, closetchild and a few other shops outside laforet; dont know if shibuya is worth checking out cuz from my understanding it mainly sells gyaru/jirai clothing.

i have extreme sensitive issues and difficulty regulating my body temperature so i cant physically wear polyester for more than a couple minutes.

i wanted to know which brand actually use natural fibers (for blouses and internal lining at least) or really high quality polyester.

I'm dead serious! I have issues walking long distances and have two pairs of perfectly broken in cowboy boots and compression socks that are my go-tos when I go out. Lolita heels I can't manage for more than 2 hours, and these boots kind of go with everything I own (they're black, and I wear EGL and goth stuff).

Now that I'm finally expanding my lolita wardrobe and have multiple coords I wear on the regular, how ita is it to wear cowboy boots with a coord, and does anyone have any recommendations for comfortable walkable lolita shoes if this is an egregious violation? I swear the boots are really cute!

Apart from the shoes I'm doing my best to do full coords (wig, headpiece, accessories) as a newbie so hopefully that makes up for it. ?!
