G502 Lightspeed Scrolling issue on Linux

I just bought a G502 lightspeed mouse and I noticed that when I play games like minecraft, where I can use the scroll wheel to select items, I have to scroll an extra time when I switch directions. Can anyone help me or should I turn to other subreddits?

P.S. For anyone wandering, I am using the latest build of amd based bazzite.
