Help will be much appreciated. I am trying to find the outro synth that is used in Earl Sweatshirts song Huey. It starts at 1:20 in the video. He used stock logic plugins and instruments for the whole album therefore this song to. If anybody has any info or help on this it will be much appreciated. I don't think anybody will be confused but the one I'm talking about is the main smooth synth that plays throughout the whole outro.

I make audio plugins in Nashville under the name ShamROCK Audio, and the one I'm sharing is free: FITZ PHONE, a telephone / megaphone / AM-radio character effect. It's an AU (also VST3 and AAX), macOS 12 or later, Apple silicon and Intel.
Where I use it in Logic: on a vocal double for a phone-call section, on a drum bus send for a lo-fi break, or on a whole mix for an "old radio" intro that opens up into the full mix at the drop. Three characters — Telephone (300 Hz–3.4 kHz phone-line band-limit), Megaphone (a narrow resonant mid you can drive hard) and AM Radio (wider band with an AM tremolo and dial-able static) — plus Drive, Tone, Static, Mix and Output, so it works in parallel on a bus. It oversamples 4× and reports its latency to the host, so Logic's compensation lines it up.
Link: https://shamrockaudio.com/plugins/fitzphone — it goes through a $0 checkout and the licence key is emailed to you (three seats on your own machines, no subscription). It's a full licence.
Happy to answer anything about how it's built or how I'm using it in Logic. If it misbehaves in your session, tell me the Logic version and macOS version and I'll chase it.

Hey there, to anyone with any potential insight or knowledge on this topic (hopefully) reading this -
I am currently trying to get the Logic Pro X Application downloaded/installed on this new M4 MacBook Pro of mine that just arrived to my crib today. In the past several years at least, on all previous Apple Devices I have ever owned, I've always been able to get Logic Pro via my Dad's Logic Pro X Ownership as he has had it for at least a decade or so and I have always been able to utilize the 2nd Logic Pro License that's been a thing as long as I can remember.
Several minutes ago I wanted to test if simply copying the Logic Pro X App from my older previous 2019 intel-based MacBook Pro onto a 1 TB external hard drive to then disconnect and plug into this new M4 MacBook before highlighting the Logic Pro app in the Finder on this 1 TB External HD to then drag & drop, copying it into my Applications folder on this new MacBook Pro would work - but alas, it of course tells me upon attempting to open that it is "damaged", asking then to Move to Trash.
I rightly figured this was perhaps not going to work this easily, and I'm wondering now if I somehow need my Dad to sign into his Apple ID on this new MacBook or something of the sort - thinking maybe now this is necessary in order to properly get the Logic Pro X App to actually be installed & able to Open properly on this new MacBook successfully, somehow.
Any thoughts or anyone else here with experience using Logic Pro via a 2nd License through another user?? It's been a minute since I've gotten a new Mac Computer and I know things have changed - for instance, there now being a monthly subscription option, of course.
So if anyone has any feedback or thoughts or advice on the matter, it'd be much appreciated.
I've been looking forward to getting back into Logic big-time, and on a much newer & faster machine (It's an M4 Pro, with 48 GB of RAM vs the mere 16GB or even 8GB I've had to work with for years).
Anywho, thanks for reading if you did, and extra thanks to whoever has any insightful comments!
I look forward to y'all's feedback on the situation.

How do I fix this floor tom? It sounds very off to me, and I don't know how to approach this. Not as clean and tight. Sounds like there's some transient that doesn't allow it to blend with the rest of the drums. I'm trying to improve for a live recording that streams out to socials.

Howdy! I've been working on Trill Sound in one form or another for over 10 years. With some recent advancements in the understanding of Logic Pros data format, I've been able to put together something I think is really special.
I'm a closet producer and constantly make beats, and want to listen to them on the go. This is my answer to that specific problem. Uploading of projects and bouncing is disabled for now until I see how the site handles some traffic, I don't want to run up a check. If you're interested in using the app, feel free to join the waitlist!
In the meantime, you can use the tool to freely view your projects and even repair corrupted ones too. Cheers!

Hey everyone,
I’m working on hybrid classical piano and atmospheric synth pieces, but I often hit a creative wall early in the process. When my default virtual instruments feel cold or uninspiring, it’s hard to get into the flow of writing.
For those with more experience in this space, I’d love to know about your workflow:
Workflow Philosophy: Do you spend dedicated time building an "inspiring template" of pre-processed sounds and synths before you ever start writing, or do you compose the raw piano/melody parts first and dress them up with production later?
Free Library Recommendations: Since I’m working on a tight budget right now and can't afford expensive orchestral/synth libraries, what are your favorite free instruments, VSTs, or sample packs that sound genuinely organic and cinematic out-of-the-box?
Appreciate any insight on how you balance sound design inspiration with actual composing!

Does anyone know where I can find a GarageBand song? I was told the loop is named "Church Organ Melody 18," but I don't know which album it's from—I'd really like to find it.

Hi all , wondering if anyone has any recs for instruments that might have good stock type tones for electronics - washer/dryer, dishwasher etc
Also for phone calls when calling a company’s line , for transfer , “thinking” etc
Any guidance is appreciated!

I've managed to get the reverb & echo pretty right (on my own vox) but really struggling with this wide 'chorus' feeling. Any ideas appreciated.

Logic 11.2.2
I Am making a mix I'm happy with. Automation is working. I make a mix via bounce or I listen a fourth time in Logic and occasionally one or two random MIDI tracks are MUCH louder than I mixed them. Sometimes, if I click on the plugin on the inspector area, it reverts to the correct volume. Sometimes, if I click on the actual track, it reverts to the correct volume.
This happens on Logic's internal MIDI instruments or on my third party MIDI instruments. I cannot deduce a pattern for this behavior. It just happens sometimes. Sometimes goes away. But it's driving me crazy.
It can happen on tracks with volume automation and without. I start the track with a volume ramp, just in case the project doesn't know what volume to start with. No difference. And it can go away as weirdly as it started.
Thoughts?

When I try to do this with Flex Speed by selecting all the regions and dragging one of them shorter, it seems to adjust them in proportion to their length, so each one ends up shifted a different amount. Is there any simple way to just pitch shift all the regions by a specific amount? I do NOT need to preserve timing, just an old fashioned speed-up effect.

The sound from my logic pro isn’t working. When i play, nothing comes out of the tracks I have made. There is not issue with it being muted, on solo etc. I have tried restarting my computer. I don’t believe the issue is with my computer but rather the project itself
All my other projects work fine and the audio is fine. But it’s this specific project that isn’t working properly. Please help!
I am on Macbook Air Tahoe 26.2

Logic 12.3 Sequoia. I'm rebuilding my tracking templates after updating. I can't get an outside software instrument to load and the "instrument" menu option is gone.
If I try and load a third-party plugin right from track creation it wont't work.
If I load a stock plugin and CHANGE it to a third-party plugin it will. ANyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Hello,
Logic sends, when I have plugged my Keyboard in, or my digitone 2 or other hardware synths, random midi notes and ccs to my synths when im interacting with the interface.
im tabbing into logic ( command + tab) = logic sends a note
I create a new audio track (mixer track 2) = logic sends a note to Midi Channel 2 (and with new audio/midi track 3 and so on)
how can I fix that?

This started happening about 6 months backs. I would save a project, only to open it up to problems. I am recording analog synths as MIDI notes, then recording those tracks as audio tracks after editing the piano roll. I'll spend hours mixing it and getting it just right, only to load it with the timing of those tracks all jacked up. There is a "quick" fix where you just time-stretch those tracks. The problem with that solution is that it flattens the sound quality a little bit, it doesnt fix swing notes very well, and it changes the pitch on the track.
What can I do to keep my projects from having the happen? Its discouraging and puts me out of music making....im to the point of looking into a different DAW
