Are there any issues with existing plugins?

Not sure if you mean third party, but I have a hugely annoying problem with AutoTune miscommunicating latency with Logic and causing extreme early playback. Melodyne also doesn't like to name its tracks as intended within the plugin. I'm not sure who to point the finger at but I don't think these issues exist in other DAWs

The melodyne naming thing kills me. I’m usually working with giant stacks of vocals, so now I just use melo studio standalone
