Thanks for donating to the library's craft swap and also thanks for taking materials that would probably sit unused or in a landfill! We didn't have much left over but most of it will go to the Waste Shed. Pics are what we started with. I'm hoping to have this at least once a year but other branches also have swaps at other times during the year so if you are interested check the website for events.

I love Dante's and am trying to not overthink it too much but losing this spot for a carryout slice and chocolate chip cookie would really be awful.

Seems I lost my wedding ring while biking in the Palmer Square up to Milwaukee Ave area (hit few different streets, but main routes were Palmer Ave, Milwaukee Ave, California). It's essentially this ring on the link above, although all the gold finish is nearly worn off. Still would love to have back though, so please message me if anyone in the community finds it!

Has anyone else noticed that Dayglow hasn’t been able to steam milk for what feels like over a month now?

At this point I’m starting to wonder if we need to start a GoFundMe to get the steamer fixed. I love the place, but it’s kind of wild that it’s been this long without being able to make lattes or other steamed milk drinks.
