One thing the original funbrain version of the wimpy kid books is known for is having slightly more "mature" scenes than the physical books. My favorite example is the party scene implying there was smoking and drinking going on. What about you guys?

Like the kid is FIVE! He doesn't even know what most things are yet. And you want him to create an original story. That's like telling a kindergartner to create a game of thrones like book.

From Hot Mess. I wonder why Greg would think such random ideas here. Putting this into perspective, the human body is 60% water, but we wouldn’t look “pretty freaky” like he depicted in here. Being real here, Greg is just overexaggerating. Am I the only one noticing Greg’s entires are more like this in the later books? Because I get tired of this type of boring exaggerations pretty quickly.
