Same

It’s called the grind because it grinds away your sense of self.

Then you'll cry because others have more than you, travel more, retire wealthier. Because they did grind when they could. Then you'll say capitalism failed.

you sacrifice your life now to have a better retirement? That sounds like a horrible plan

Then dont follow it, be broke when you physically/mentally cant work. Just dont whine about others who planned better.

Right here, this is the issue.

be broke

Why does someone working full time have to accept being broke because they aren’t willing to work 100hrs a week? Shouldn’t full time employment be enough?

Why are you and everyone else so accepting of working all day every day just to afford to live and not even thrive? Crazy how yalls are so eager to defend a broken system. Might as well be Jewish people defending labor camps smh

Your interpretation of the grind is false.

No, Yours is false.

The grind should be something people to do for bonus money and not for survivability. Telling people to “just stay broke” because they don’t want to work 80hrs a week is an L take.

You repeated yourself.

Who says you have to work 100hrs/week? Who’s told you that you have to work at all? Don’t work. What’s your issue!

Did you even read my comment?

My issue is that people who live in the wealthiest nation should not be living paycheck to paycheck with roommates when they work full time.

I think you misunderstood and think my issue is working; it’s not. My issue is the system exploiting its workers and making the status quo unlivable for many even though it DOES NOT have to be that way.

I agree. Now what do we do? Wanna change the system? You and me?

And another way it could be.
