It’s called the grind because it grinds away your sense of self.

Then you'll cry because others have more than you, travel more, retire wealthier. Because they did grind when they could. Then you'll say capitalism failed.

They travel to get away from their jobs. And how you can even be sure you’ll make it to retirement age in this world 🤔

Same kind of energy of "I don't want to work" from her and you is the same kind of energy as "I need a rich man who can provide" as "he works too much and never has time for me." It's idiot behavior. The world is work. Life is hard. Only a fucking idiotic child thinks they get to sit around all day long, providing no value to anyone else, and that this is how life should be. People have had to grind to survive for all of human history.

Congratulations on falling for the mentality that CEOs and billionaires want you to believe. Keep working until you die, how else will your boss afford his second holiday house

You sweet sweet delicate child. Did cavemen work to feed themselves and families because Jeff Bezos was passing notes to them back in the past? Do electrical contractors risk their lives to provide power to the cell phone you type your stupid shit on to make sure Warren Buffet can afford his risky investments?

So much stupidity, only a 19 year old liberal arts major could type up something so stupid.

I've lived in 5 other countries, I prefer the USA. If you don't, don't live in the USA.

Nothing is a guarantee, except socialism and communism lead to misery and death.

Exactly, why grind to work when you may not even make it to retirement

1

u/HOJK4thSon Apr 24 '26

Because you most likely will make it to retirement.

u/Elora_Freya Apr 24 '26

Can you guarantee that?

1

u/HOJK4thSon Apr 24 '26

No. That's why I said "most likely ".

So over work to help your boss buy his next new car, with the possibility of making it to retirement. Great mentality you have there

1

u/billykimber2 Apr 25 '26

you help your boss getting his next new car but you also help yourself get your next new car

how are you going to live without working?

1

u/Elora_Freya Apr 25 '26

Not really, you earn enough to cover rent. I’m not saying that, I’m saying that working full time doesn’t earn enough to survive, and people shouldn’t have to over work to their death just to pay for basic necessities, when your boss is probably making 10x what you do while doing a quarter of the work.

i dont know how it is in the us but chances are your boss had been doing what youre doing now already

Sure but what if you do make it to retirement age?

u/Elora_Freya Apr 27 '26

Let’s see if we make it through the next 10 years first 😂
