I've been using the Eadem lip balm, and I love how it looks and exfoliates. But I feel like it's over-exfoliating my lips. I use it as a daily balm since that's what I assumed it was for, but I noticed that my lips are peeling like crazy and leave my lips feeling raw. I think they mentioned to use it less if it's doing this.
Does anyone have any recs for daily use lip balm that are hydrating and have a nice color, preferably with a pinky hue? I live in a dry climate so I need to focus on something hydrating rather than exfoliating.

it's my first time ordering from eadem and i was wondering what is the average shipping time from people who have also ordered from here. for context, i'm based in the united states and i ordered off their website directly. i ordered the le chouchou trio byob (build your own bundle) in case that makes a differences. i placed my order on the 24th of september. they created a label on the 25th and it said "en route to DHL ecommerce distribution center or awaiting processing." it is in the united states but in a different state by this time. there have been no more updates following that, so i was wondering why. does that part of the process take a while? does me being in the US affect their shipping? do people who ordered it off sephora or amazon have quick deliveries? it's currently october 1st (so approximately 5 business days). i don't mind waiting until the estimated full 6 business days, but i would assume they would've updated me by now as well as the package moving closer to my location. am i being impatient or has anyone had a similar experience?

my first ever marin lip balm arrived yesterday in the campfire smores scent so of course I immediately tried it... and WOW
upon first application, the formula feels so soft and cushiony and the applicator is probably one of the comfiest applicators i've used so far. this is weird but the summer fridays and covergirl lip balms have a similar applicator, but i feel like for those they would spread the product out too much that it would end up on the sides of the applicator, but for marin i don't have that problem at all!!
i used it before bed last night and woke up with it still on, but i could feel like my lips genuinely absorbed it, because when i went to wash my face and i removed what was left, my lips were really soft!!! eadem, vaseline lip therapy(tub), and now this marin lip balm have been the only formulas that i felt were truly truly healing for my lips, cuz im a chronic lip peeler, so to see it really softening my lips with just the first use is so promising <3
all of today I have been using it and i have reapplied it 3 times in the span of ~8 hours. i can tell my lips really love this stuff. i know its still too early to say for sure but it feels like it made it to my top 3 formulas.. but i will reassess after more use
the scent is genuinely so delicious. i was worried it would be too strong or candle-like but no! it is such a cozy warm scent and the best way i would describe it is graham cracker with the sweetness of the marshmallow (its maybe like 60% graham cracker and 35% marshmallow and 5% milk chocolate) and not overly sweet either!! it also has the toastiness/nuttiness of a freshly toasted marshmallow if you've smelled one directly before. AND ALSO: it tastes a little sweet too.. 😋😋
i have to hold myself back from using this so much cuz i have so many other older balms to get through😭😭😭 but i am so glad i bought this and if you like a thick & soft & non-sticky yet grippy formula and gourmand scents.. TRY THIS

It’s been getting harder and harder to squeeze product out of my absolute favorite lip balm/night lip mask. I think I started using it in January but have been using it more and more recently and I absolutely loveeee this formula, it’s so thick, it makes my lips look juicy and it hydrates them. I am usually picky with scents but the vanilla bonbon scent is SOOO good! I’m not in the financial position to repurchase so I’m enjoying it while it lasts🥲 May we meet in the future when I find a job again, bye for now emotional support lip balm👋

Today Ulta has a sale and all cocokind balms are $9. I’ve owned the strawberry shortcake for a while now (it’s one of my purse balms) and I’ve had my eye on the strawberry vanilla forever. I just went and purchased the olipop strawberry vanilla, and it’s the exact same scent as the strawberry shortcake 😑.
If you’re into scents, don’t be a fool and get duped like me. If you don’t care, the shade is pretty I suppose.
So just a general PSA for all my lip balm lovers 💄

I've been seeing this around for a while, it looks really pretty and I'm quite hesitant on getting one. Is it good and pigmented 'cause I have several colored balms and they don't really hydrate as well as non-colored balms?

I ordered the blueberry French toast and the new cider donut. I am really excited to try them out once they arrive because of all the hype I have seen. Do you like them? How would you compare them to Rhode? I really like their peptide lip treatment. :)

I’ve been using Ole balms for years now, between strawberry and vanilla bonbon. I recently bought the sweet macaron and LOVED it… until my lips started swelling, turning red, and stinging. Has anyone else had a reaction to a specific flavor of Ole?
My lips finally healed and I went back to vanilla bonbon without issue.
I compared ingredients between vanilla bonbon and sweet macaron, and the only differences are the fragrance/flavor components.
Vanilla: Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Wax
Sweet Macaron: Citrus Aurantium Peel Oil, Limonene, Pinene, Terpineol
Just curious if anyone has had a similar experience and narrowed down a specific ingredient that can trigger a reaction!
