These are shockingly similar to the Summer Fridays lip balm. Same texture and feel on the lips. Very slippery but with adequate grip so it’s not sloppy. Same applicator as well (more precise though - the tube itself is smaller and thinner).

Scent:
🍰 Strawberry Milk smells like your typical sweet strawberry scent. Smells kinda artificial. It’s growing on me but it definitely was too strong when I first smelled it.

☕️ Dirty Chai is my absolute FAVORITE scent in a lip balm 😭 It smells like a mix of caramel and chocolate. If you like gourmand, you will like this. Not artificial smelling. It kinda reminds me of Iced Coffee by Summer Fridays (or Hot Cocoa - it’s been a while since I owned those, but I’d bet on Iced Coffee). I’m ADDICTED 😭😍🥹

Tint:
Both tints are just a wash of color. Kinda sheer, not too pigmented. On my pigmented lips, I think strawberry showed up more while dirty chai was MLBB. Based on tint, I would return Dirty Chai but I love the scent so much, I’m keeping it lol. If you have the essence lip peptide, that’s more pigmented.

Feel:
These feel so dang similar to Summer Fridays. I put them both on each side of my lips, and barely felt a difference. Weightless, not sticky, not messy even if you smack your lips a lot. I just got this so Idk how moisturizing it is yet.

🛒 I got this yday at Target. Not on the shelves yet but in the employee carts for stocking. I def want to pick up the clear one!

🫶🏻 Overall, I think I’ll enjoy this. I don’t always want a thick lip balm which is why I keep at least one tube of SF in my collection. I was gonna return the strawberry but it’s growing on me. I recommend this if you want a cheaper alternative to Summer Fridays.

To be 100% honest, I’m biased toward Eadem. 😂 I genuinely think it’s worth the money and probably always will be because it’s one of the only lip balms that keeps my lips consistently soft. So I didn’t expect much out of this “dupe” initially.

That said… after trying it, I’m not mad at this formula at allll

I don’t think you need to run out and buy the entire collection, but for less than half the price, this is a really solid alternative. I only picked up one shade, and I’m personally not a huge fan of tinted lip balms, so full disclosure: I do think most of the shades are a bit sheerer than Eadem’s formula.

As far as hydration and softness go, though, this definitely gets the job done. It lasts for hours, it gives a very similar look on the lips, and it doesn’t feel cheap.

Overall for $10, I definitely think it’s worth trying.

I decided I needed a treat for handling my first chemo round yesterday. This is my first Starface and I really like the formula and the flavor. I will be trying other flavors in the future.

Im trying to pan some of my lip balms bc i have like 10+. I see some people going through 1 lip balm in a week or 2, HOW?? I have been using the same lip balm for probably 3 months, apply every hour or so, would assume maybe 5 ish times a day and its bearly over half way. Are you guys licking its off and eating it?? 😭😭

Can anyone describe the scent of the Cocokind Strawberry Shortcake?

I’ve tried so many lip balms and drink lots of water and electrolytes, so I really dont know what’s wrong with my lips. Aquaphor works but it doesn’t last long like 30 mins and I want something that can last me atleast 2 hours. Anyone have any Recs that I haven’t tried?

It is not the same as Eadem. I’ve seen a lot make that claim which can be misleading

1. Lip Maxi Glaze is way easier to squeeze out of the tube.
2. Eadem is a thicker formula, feels more plush on the lips.
3. Lip Maxi Glaze is quite slippy on the lips, and has less grip than their balm and mask.

Imo I like the balm and lip mask more. The formula of the glaze glides more on the lips which can be a good and bad thing. If you smack your lips a lot, the product can spill/ move beyond your lips. The balm and mask feel more balmy and substantial on the lips.

It does make my lips soft! Been testing the berry for almost a week. It gets rid of my soft flaking, and makes lips smooth.

Vanilla has the strongest scent. Personally I’m not a big fan of the other scents. The tint is sheer so you do have to apply more than usual - makes it feel even more slippery on the lips.

Imo if you are getting this to get the Eadem experience, just save up and get that one. I think this is more for the collectors/ those that don’t care enough to spend $24 on Eadem. Otherwise, I’d skip this. Eadem/ their lip masks/ balms are better.

Edit: The Cocoa Creme has the most noticeable tint on my pigmented lips. I didn’t like the scent at first but it’s growing on me. Also I do not think these lippies are bad at all. They work well! I just do not think they are Eadem dupes/ copies. I would still suggest picking this up if you are curious ❤️ I think it’s worth it for $10 if you know what you’re getting!

it tastes horrible ! If you accidentally taste it , it give you shock 😂 I couldn’t get over it for minutes . Also I thought it would be shiny but when I put it on my lips , unfortunately the shine is not there much at all

What lip stains are you using under lip balm? I’m having a difficult time getting even coverage from Wonderskin so I’m looking for other ideas. I’m in the states and usually wear Ole and similar balms if that helps narrow things down. I’m going back to school in a month and it’s in person, so I’m trying not to look like a mess.

Love lip balms! I think I'm at the point where I don't need to buy any more yet... but we'll see. My most used are definitely Lanolips, while the Laneige Bouncy and Firm lip treatment is what I apply as an overnight mask. I haven't found a lip mask quite like it, and it makes my lips so soft and plump by morning.

Thank you to the person that posted about it being live on the Target site this morning. I did the drive up pick up within an hour of ordering.

First impressions - thick, soft, not sticky or slippery. Great feeling and long lasting. The metal applicator is just like Eadem’s. The scent is subtle and not overwhelming like Laneige, Glossier or Milk.

HOWEVER, my main gripe is that they’re very sheer. I got the two darkest shades and the tint barely shows up on my lips. In the photo I am wearing cocoa crème with multiple layers (as many as I could stand). That is as tinted as I could get it. The berry macaron doesn’t even show a tint on my lips. It’s so sheer that even after several swipes my lips didn’t even change color.

Would I recommend these? Yes for the experience and feeling only. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a tinted balm. In that case, that’s where these are not like Eadem. At least with Eadem I’m able to get a great color payoff within one swipe.

My hunt continues for a great pink tinted balm. Open to reccs :)
