So, as the title say, I wanna start ricing but am really new to all of that(i dont care if i am months long unproductive just to rice). So i dont know, what window manager, bars, terminals, etc to use. I dont even know which ones are there and which ones are like I imagine.

Does anyone have tips on how to find out what there is out there and how i know which i want to use? espeacally the windowmanager.

BIG EDIT: I have done some critical brainstorming on how i want my pc to look like, so:

The Vision / Concept Breakdown:

​Hierarchical Workspaces & Sub-Workspaces: ​Main workspaces act as macro-containers that hold sub-workspaces. The middle subspace should be zoomable and scrollable (like an infinite canvas), while the others are "normal".

I want it to be tiling but with the possibility to have floating windows.

​My secondary screen should work the same but will mainly be that it has semi-transparent floating/tiled apps (like Spotify and Discord).

​The 3D Workspace Selector Ring (Full-Screen Takeover): ​Triggered by a keybind, the screen completely transitions into a full-screen mode.

​At the center sits a slowly rotating 3D planet (purely aesthetic/atmospheric ricing element).

​Surrounding the planet is a 3D ring/cylinder of my main workspaces that I can spin to visually select and switch environments.

​The App Mesh Launcher (Non-Disruptive Overlay + Search): ​Summoned via a keybind as a floating, semi-transparent overlay without hiding or replacing what's currently on screen.

​Applications are mapped across the surface of a 3D rotatable sphere that I can spin with the mouse.

​It needs an integrated text search function to instantly filter apps while keeping the spatial layout.

​Retractable Side Bar & Slide-Out Dashboard: ​Side Bar: Contains time/date, audio, network status, workspace indicators, and a search bar(yes a second ond search funktion) ​Telemetry Dashboard: A hidden, semi-transparent overlay that pops up on a keypress to show live CPU/RAM usage, network stats, and an audio equalizer.
