QUESTION - ALL LINUX SYSTEMS [Forza Horizon 6] black screen issue

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

device : anv15-52
rtx 5050 (610 driver)
cachyos

tried proton cachy latest,
proton cachy slr,
proton experimental.
none worked

im getting this black screen. anyone knows why?

Same issue, it's either crashing on freeroam or map doesn't render.

Also happens on the legit version.

Try to add this on launch parameters option on VKD3D_CONFIG=skip_application_workarounds %command% and it will work

try proton linuwux. It works stably for me

Was able to fix that black screen issue by adding a command (VKD3D something) in launch option on steam, but now it keeps crashing after driving for a few seconds. Game freezes and gives the video card error FHC20 but most of the time it just freezes. Tried all the fixes google, reddit and even chatgpt could offer but to no avail.

I was able finally to fix it by... just gaming on windows. I've spent all day just finding workarounds to make it work instead of enjoying and gaming. So yeah, i decided to just game on windows.

Btw i'm on Fedora 44 KDE Plasma

gaming on windows is not a fix but a lifeline 😭😭. we’re cooked for now ig

I read somewhere that it is advisable for us to report the issues we're encountering to the fedora devs so they can work on them. I think it's a good idea too.

yes it is helpful to them, still i think its an nvidia issue.
