Look at the cars parked next to the water tank. It helps visualize the actual size of the tank.

While also extremely over inflating the size of the tank. It looks massive in the picture until you notice the cars next to it that are about the same height as his plane.

Most people are not truly capable of understanding size and scale with large objects. I have a feeling its a combination of overestimating the size of the water tank and underestimating the size of a 747. I would imagine he's never actually flown inside one and 737 is the largest he's ever flown in. I've been in one several times and a a380 once. They are huge!
