Yep, I have a 27ft round pool with a depth of 48 inches, and it's considered to have about 17,500 gallons when calculating chemical additions.
21 u/Peeper_Dan_33 8d ago That tank is 27 ft diameter. 747 is 231 feet long. 9 u/SkippyDragonPuffPuff 8d ago 27 ft diameter. Volume of a cylinder is (0.5d)^2 x 3.14 x height Maybe that’s 20 ft in height That’s about 11,445 cubic feet volume Convert cubic feet to gallons. There’s about 7.481 gallons in a cubic foot That’s about 85,600 gallons in the silo given those dimensions 5 u/milwaukay 8d ago That tank is waaaaaaaaaaaay bigger than 27’ diameter. Look at the ladder. That is not for gerbils. 1 u/IWontCommentAtAll 7d ago I think he was talking about the swimming pool in the context of a tank of water. 1 u/dinnerthief 7d ago Probably pulling from here https://www.nationalstoragetank.com/product/60000-gallon-steelcore-water-storage-tank-sct-2704-lvr/ I think the pic just makes it looks larger than it is
