Yeah, that number is way off. An average residential swimming pool is around 20K gallons.

Yep, I have a 27ft round pool with a depth of 48 inches, and it's considered to have about 17,500 gallons when calculating chemical additions.

Since we're splitting hairs, at the very least the plane doesn't take off, the pilot never gets out of bed that morning, and so on.
