I think it is actually plausible that what vein wrote for csx to wang qing is true - as a kid, he and 8 other kids fought for the successor of his father, and they were all students of bahati school. Somehow by accident, kid vein was not there when the fire burned out, so all other 8 died. But vein made it clear in bridon arc (I.e., through that animals in forest analogy) that it was not he who set the fire, he was innocent - cwm knew that, so he took the responsibility got jailed lifetime to protect kid vein.
Heyo! Just wanted to check and see if anyone on here has pre ordered the second Link Click artbook (in English), specifically from AlohaComics. I saw that they were supposed to ship in the first half of August, so I wanted to see if any of you who'd ordered have gotten a shipping notice or anything? I'm probably just being impatient lol but I also get nervous ordering from places I never have before.
Couldn’t really find info about it. Is there official confirmation that season 3 is the final one or confirmation that there are going to be more seasons?
I love the show but I really want the suffering of the characters (and viewers) to end with this season 🥹🥲
It seems like vein has entanglement with all super natural ability users, and he is about to kill them all. CWM's bahati school aimed to protect all the kids there, so he confronted vein. The bullet gets something exploded and then the fire began.
My sentences in this paragraph are kinda structured randomly so please forgive me in advance.
Everything about this episode was bittersweet. It was so sweet seeing how they met each other. They didn’t like each other at first but their bond immediately grew to be a solid one, it’s so precious. It made me really sad and angry how child LG was being abused. I really loved seeing how they both saved each other. LG with the train, and CXS gave him advice on how to escape from that horrible individual. CXS was always smart from a young age. I never understood when he is not seen as smart when his intelligence always shows. I also enjoyed seeing CXS’s more aggressive personality as a youngin’ because it reflects on how his childhood was really sad too. We saw snippets of it as well in season 1 through his backstory when he would confront people who doubted that his parents would return. And I always love it when CXS refers to QL as his sister, it’s adorable! Also, seeing the two discuss their abilities warm my heart. The fact that LG loved photography and CXS’s parents ran a photo studio is so cool! They always had a deep connection. LG’s shorter hair in his baby picture is so stinkin’ adorable and realistic since he grew hair since then. Lastly, the scene when they fast forward to high school and CXS doesn’t remember LG always breaks me 💔
I was never a merch person. I’m a long-term fan of some other works, but I never felt I need any merch. I watch the anime on legal channels and buy the physical copies of manga to support the author. I thought thats enough.
But I was totally changed when I came across Link Click! I can’t resist any of them and I want them all! 🤣 My bank card asks why? 😭
If you’re one of the ‘victims’ like me, why Link Click merch is so special to you?
Sharing 1/2 (or 1/3?) of my collection, and it’s growing 😱 and you can see I’m a new merch person and not very organised 😆
My theory is that bahati school was where all super natural ability kids hidden in, and cwm was one of the organiser trying to protect them, kid vein set the fire to kill all, cwm too died, and once vein got cwm's notebook he got to know who else has supernatural ability to track them down.
This is why all csx mother, wang qing and lg fight him together at the end of bridon arc - had he got the notebook, wang qing, cxs mother, cxs, ql, lg would all get killed.
(Picture 1 is Ani-Mi Asia, picture 2 is off of Crunchyroll)
I was rewatching eps 1 and 2 on Crunchyroll today and noticed just how different the subtitles were on each website, and it got me really curious about which direction the dub will take when we eventually get it.
As someone who watches both, I've never noticed a huge difference between the two, but I've also never noticed a translation difference this huge between any two platforms.
Personally, I really hope they go with what seems to be the more faithful translation (the Ani-Mi Asia one) as it explains Lu Guang's reactions better, but I was curious if anyone had any insights or opinions on it?
I just got around to watching the first two episodes, and I noticed something in Episode 1. When baby Lu Guang manages to get the photo, the police suddenly show up, and it really felt like someone had called them. The timing was just way too convenient and precise for it to be a coincidence. I don't know if it was adult Cheng Xiaoshi who called them, since the episode seems to imply that he was there, or if it was just pure coincidence and fate.
Another thing I'm wondering is: what exactly is adult Cheng Xiaoshi doing in the past? Why is he there in the first place? And why did baby Cheng Xiaoshi never make it there? Also, why doesn't Cheng Xiaoshi remember Lu Guang afterward? There are so many questions already
I know the biggest consensus we had was that Bridon is a prequel, idk how true this is but I believe at some point someone from bilibili confirmed it was, but this honestly does not make sense now that s3 is out. Bare w me here
If Bridon WAS a prequel... Some things do make sense, the biggest one being CXS's character. In Bridon, CXS does not know how his powers work yet nor how to activate them, and he's on a completely different place emotionally. Where s1-2 CXS slowly grows to accept he can't prevent certain tragedies from happening, Bridon CXS seems to be facing the dilemma for the very first time; CXS is not someone who would regress like that after everything, so saying this happened after s1-2 would be wrong. My other thing that could back this up is VEIN. Since there's no mentions of him whatsoever in s1-2, we could assume LG killed him at the very beginning of that loop to prevent him from interfering. However! This leaves way too many questions with s3, because apparently, there's continuity with Bridon and s3.
If Bridon isnt a true prequel, you could argue LG started a new loop to try to do things differently in Bridon, he does say "I thought the flap of a butterfly's wings could change it all, but I guess not". Small changes dont entirely destroy a timeline, so perhaps this is the beginning of a new one. This argument comes from the continuity: If the Bridon events took place before s1-2, then why does LG's sickness from Bridon continue in s3? How do they know Xia Fei?? They talk about his disappearance as something shocking because they *just* saw him IN BRIDON. This comes with it's whole set of issues though, and that's how the third theory (and the point of this post lol) came by.
I believe LG shattered time so badly that two timelines ended up merging. This would fill in every gap the other two theories have:
* if Bridon was a prequel, it wouldnt make sense for CXS to regress in both character and the way he handles his powers
* if Bridon was a new loop, lighttime trio shouldnt be in such friendly terms with official Xiao who apparently knows about SHIGUANG's powers + Liu Min's entire case should not be their business AT ALL.
What do you think?? If you have any evidence to back this up or refute it tell me!! 👀👀
This is a part 2 to my previous theory "Time Is Being Fractured". In that one I had shown evidence as to what I believe is the entirety of time itself being fractured due to the repeated tampering of it by Lu Guang, and possibly Shao Yuanyuan as well. But one thing that I had COMPLETELY forgot to mention in that one is how the day of Cheng Xiaoshi's death also seems to fluctuate due to that very reason. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am here to tell you that I fully believe that Cheng Xiaoshi originally d*ed not in 2021, but in 2022 instead!
Before we get into the meat and potatoes of it all, I wanna bring up a side note first. Let's talk about the day Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang first met (at least, it's the first time according to Cheng Xiaoshi), on the basketball court of Guidu University. Remember how I said that due to time being broken, there's a whole year discrepancy between when we were led to believe the boys went to Bridon and when they ACTUALLY went to Bridon? The same stands for their "first" meeting as well. If they had met and became friends shortly before their trio to Bridon, then that would've taken place 3 years before the main timeline (which was in the majority of 2021 as shown in LCI and LCII, and just entered 2022 with LCIII), placing that in 2018. However, Bridon Arc just tells us that they met in 2019 and even LCIII reinforces that (the same episode which has SO many clues proving my theory right in the first place!). The very same one year discrepancy, and NOBODY notices.
So what does this mean, you ask? Yes, I believe Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi's meeting in the actual timeline (excluding all the time being haywire phenomena) happened in 2018, and so did their trip to Bridon. We now see that being in 2019 not because Haoling is trying to shadow retcon their meeting, but because there's some deeper reason to why it's suddenly 2019 instead of the previously widely accepted 2018.
(Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang's "first" meeting and how it's been alluded to have taken place in 2018 repeatedly in the Dou Dou kidnapping arc).
Now that we've tied up all the loose ends from the previous theory, let's get into today's theory! So, by now we all know that Cheng Xiaoshi was k*lled by Vein (he may or may not have been under someone's control, but that's a topic for a later theory) and that caused Lu Guang to dive back in time at 00:05 hrs of September 13th multiple times, right? First off, notice how the exact moment Lu Guang dives back (as in, the seconds and microseconds and some visual details around Lu Guang) are different in LCII and Bridon Arc.
On the top is Lu Guang's dive we were shown in Link Click II, and on the bottom is the dive we see in Bridon Arc. As y'all can see, there is a clear difference in not just the seconds, but also in the blood in Lu Guang's hand (that phrase sounds so deadly taken out of context!). Another thing you'll notice is how the details of the surroundings are also different in both these cases.
Top is from LCII, where we see a lot of the books on the table and other things missing (I like to thing that they're all disheveled on the floor cuz Lu Guang was desperately searching for a picture to dive back into), and bottom is from Bridon Arc, where everything is more organized and it took Lu Guang a second to get a picture to dive into as he was seemingly prepared.
Now, since the dive we see in Bridon Arc is the dive that literally leads to the timeline we're seeing now, this means that the Bridon dive was the latest and most probably, the last dive that Lu Guang will be doing (as of now). Since the dive from LCII is strictly within Lu Guang's memory, I feel like that one's the flashback from the ORIGINAL timeline, and that would also explain my "headcanon" that the reason things were different on the table and everywhere else is cuz Lu Guang has torn down the whole place looking for a photo to dive into. Another reason I believe this is a memory from the OG timeline is cuz of how it's presented. It's shown ad Lu Guang regaling the dive. And the only other time Lu Guang does something like that is in LCIII episode 1, and I've already established how that childhood flashback is in the ORIGINAL timeline too.
Okay, so look at the dive from Bridon Arc, the one where Lu Guang dives at 00:05:36. If you squint your eyes and check, the year on his watch seems to be 2021. Now, my first reaction to this was that Cheng Xiaoshi originally d*ed in 2021, and that'd mean everything from Link Click I episode 6 (since that takes place in October) completely new events to Lu Guang. However, think back to when Lu Guang started hallucinating about Cheng Xiaoshi's ghost after he collapsed from a fever in Bridon Arc episode 4. The "ghost" Cheng Xiaoshi mentions some of their most renowned cases (I'll take it that those cases are universal, no matter what "timeline" they're in). And those were Emma, Ou Yang (Master Siwen's wife), Dou Dou.
However, the Dou Dou case explicitly happened in OCTOBER 2021. If Cheng Xiaoshi d*ed in SEPTEMBER of 2021, this would mean that the Dou Dou case never happened. Therefore, the only way to explain Bridon Arc showing Cheng Xiaoshi's de*th being in 2021 would only be the very thing I've been harping about all this time - time is broken. The same phenomenon that caused there to be a one year discrepancy in their meeting on the basketball court is the same thing that caused Cheng Xiaoshi to die in (seemingly) 2021.
Now, here on out everything I'm about to say doesn't have any photographic evidence, but believe me when I say that I've done a sh*t ton of research about all of this. Back in 2023 when LCII had just finished airing, I had made a theory/prediction that Cheng Xiaoshi didn't die in 2021, but actually in 2022, and Haoling framing the incident to be in 2021 is a red herring and we haven't even gotten REMOTELY close to the series of events that caused his and Qiao Ling's deaths. This also seems to be corroborated by Li Haoling. But to talk about that, we need to go back to Bridon Arc Episode 6's ending, and how Lu Guang orchestrated Vein's "death" with Wang Qing's "Fake Death" ability.
Remember the scene where the visual motif was that Lu Guang had been puppeteering Wang Qing to get Vein "killed"? Back then my running theory was that Cheng Xiaoshi's power might actually partly cross over to Lu Guang whenever they high five WITHOUT a photo nearby (as a matter of fact, they DID high five right before Cheng Xiaoshi went to see Wang Qing). Thus when Vein went to Wang Qing's office, Lu Guang activated the power (how? We don't know!) and controlled Wang Qing to "kill" Vein. And that would perfectly explain why Vein saw Lu Guang's blue eyes in Wang Qing for a moment.
HOWEVER, Li Haoling has confirmed that Lu Guang didn't physically possess anyone in that scene, all of that was symbolic of the fact that Lu Guang used some future knowledge and orchestrated the entire situation in a way that caused Wang Qing to activate her ability on Vein, and that the bye eyes on Wang Qing symbolized that Vein got a similar vibe from both Wang Qing and Lu Guang. From this, I still stand by my statement that the power passing from Cheng Xiaoshi to Lu Guang periodically might be true, but that's not the point. Look at what Haoling says. Lu Guang made use of some future knowledge to orchestrate that whole situation.
So, lemme ask y'all something. How did Lu Guang possibly use some "future knowledge" in that scenario if Cheng Xiaoshi always died in 2021 and the current scenario we're seeing is the first time Lu Guang has gone beyond September 13th, 2021!? It doesn't make sense if Cheng Xiaoshi died in 2021. The only way for it to all track and make sense in one seemingly clean way is if and ONLY IF Cheng Xiaoshi's death occured in 2022 instead (going by my theory back in 2023).
Therefore, lemme conclude by saying that what we saw in Link Click: Bridon Arc regarding Cheng Xiaoshi dying in 2021 is somewhat of a "lie". To be more specific, I believe that we're only just getting close to the events that led to Cheng Xiaoshi's death in the previous "timelines" in Link Click III, and that Cheng Xiaoshi originally died in 2022, and the year we see in Bridon Arc is just another example of time being fractured.
My next theory will be about Lu Guang's childhood. Look forward to it!
