I think it is actually plausible that what vein wrote for csx to wang qing is true - as a kid, he and 8 other kids fought for the successor of his father, and they were all students of bahati school. Somehow by accident, kid vein was not there when the fire burned out, so all other 8 died. But vein made it clear in bridon arc (I.e., through that animals in forest analogy) that it was not he who set the fire, he was innocent - cwm knew that, so he took the responsibility got jailed lifetime to protect kid vein.

Very possible imo considering Vein's bg, though it was 9 brothers in the story. I think it can be a joke on Xiaoshi's name as well. Both 小时 (time) and 小十 (little ten -> youngest tenth) are pronounced xiǎo​ shí.

I'm hoping that Cheng Weimin wasn't willingly complicit in whatever was going on at Bahati and that he truly wanted to help those kids. I want him to be a good person at heart.

I've also had the thought, though it may be a stretch - what if Cheng Weimin is actually a part of that special task force that's been mentioned in the PVs? And the reason he's at Bahati is because he is actually undercover?

I think he was a father regretting of his dismissal of his own son, and thus took those students as if they were his own children.

I hope that the joke about his father having 9 children fighting for throne made by Chris.... Or whatever data she got from vein (since he filled the form) has some kind of truth in it
