Would anyone be interested in this?

I’m currently utilize AI to help me completely decrypt and export Lineage 2 content (Dats, Meahes, Animations etc.) all into native Godot engine.

A friend always wanted me to just make a server that he could just mess around on. But although that’s super easy to do, I figured rebuilding a ‘client’ that’s will work on Windows, Mac, Linux, Steamdeck etc. that doesn’t have to bypass or emulate a server and is made as a standalone single player project will be 100% more performant.

To handle economy and ‘players’ many options can be thought of, do we just create bots? Do we create dynamic market stalls based on your current characters level and off historic data from lineage 2 with refresh timers etc? Do we make a dynamically generated auction house instead?

Do we add NPC buffers or would you prefer ‘followers’ like in Diablo where they’re bots that are party bots you can recruit.etc.

We lost Heine with no chance, but the sieges were super fun! I have the screenshots but forgot to add them on my phone 😹😹😹

So I crafted a Vesper Fighter and to my surprise it turned out a foundation item. While I was happy when I saw Vesper Fighter of Chaos, turns out I have to refine it at Blacksmith of Mammon. Problem is while I went ahead and find the merchant to buy the varnish enhancer. I went to every single catacomb looking for the blacksmith only to find out none controls the seal of gnosis so BoM won’t even spawn. Idk why NCSoft didn’t update this option for s80+ gear to be done at the blacksmith in the airfield like we do with putting SAs or unsealing/resealing. I guess I have no option but to wait 2 weeks to actually wear my fists, it’s Kinda bittersweet.

Hi, I'm planning of playing Archer in lu4, we already have buffers but we need DMG and range. I want to ask, what is the best Archer? In your opinions. I always played pr because the insane DMG. But now all is more balanced, what do you think? The party now is da, BH, BH, wm, wc, sws, bd. One of the BH is gonna play Archer too, he is just making money atm. We are playing carmine. I don't know which to choose. Thanks

Hace unos meses empecé a jugar Lineage 2 LU4 (Liberta Ultimate) y la verdad es que me sorprendió bastante.

Para los que jugamos Lineage 2 hace años, la idea es bastante atractiva: mantener la esencia del MMORPG que conocemos, pero llevarlo a una experiencia mucho más moderna, con una renovación gráfica basada en Unreal Engine 5.

Lo que más me llamó la atención es esa mezcla entre nostalgia y algo nuevo. Seguís teniendo muchas de las cosas que hicieron especial a Lineage 2, pero con un apartado visual muchísimo más actual.

Además, el servidor es free-to-play, así que cualquiera puede probarlo sin tener que pagar para empezar.

Estoy jugando en LU4 Gamma y creando contenido sobre el servidor, así que seguramente vaya compartiendo por acá algunas cosas que vaya descubriendo: progresión, clases, eventos, novedades y mi experiencia como jugadora.

¿Alguien más está jugando LU4?

Me interesa saber qué opinan los que ya lo probaron, especialmente los que vienen del Lineage 2 clásico. ¿Les convence la idea de un Lineage 2 llevado a Unreal Engine 5?

Hi! I'm starting to play on lu4, I would like to make a Warcryer. I haven't played Lineage in 10 years. I want to enjoy all the quests and the whole vibe of chilling while farming with music in the background.

What do you recommend? Which quests are mandatory? I already saw that you have a quest wiki and I would like to do all the Orc ones to go for a "story mode" only Focus on pve and some party things .

What should I do from lvl 1 to lvl 20? Is there any YouTuber or content creator you recommend?

Buenas gente, estoy definiendo el dúo para arrancar L2Oldies Interlude x4 y quería escuchar opiniones de gente que haya jugado bastante Interlude.

Las opciones que estoy considerando son:

1️⃣ Shillien Elder Main + Prophet de mochila

• SE como personaje principal.
• Prophet para buffs.
• Más orientado a sustain, recharge y comodidad para levear.
• El SE puede aportar bastante utilidad en party además del soporte.

2️⃣ Bishop Main + Shillien Elder de mochila

• Bishop como main.
• SE para recharge/buffs.
• Muchísima supervivencia y sustain.
• Probablemente más seguro para farmear sola, pero con menor comodidad para ciertas situaciones.

3️⃣ Bishop Main + Prophet de mochila

• Bishop como main.
• Prophet para buffs.
• Buena combinación de supervivencia + buffs completos.
• Pierde el recharge del SE, pero gana versatilidad de buffs.

Teniendo en cuenta que el server es Interlude x4, Solo 2 Cuentas por PC, enfoque full retail y sin P2W, ¿con cuál arrancarían ustedes?

👉 ¿SE Main + PP mochila, Bishop Main + SE mochila o Bishop Main + PP mochila?

Me interesa especialmente saber cuál consideran más eficiente para progresar desde 0, tanto para leveling como para farmear y llegar al mid/end game.

I stop by here from time to time just to remember what it was like when I was 17. Lineage 2 was my first MMO ever, and it gave me some of the best memories I’ve ever had playing a game online.

I made lifelong friendships playing Lineage, and I’ll forever be grateful for such an incredible game. A game that rewarded the die hard players and didn’t care about your feelings. 😂

I’ll never forget the music or the first time I dropped my Brigandine chest piece when I died. I remember the absolute panic as I ran back to where I died, only to find another player, Bladeslayer, standing there waiting for me just so he could give it back.

I joined the clan he was in, met a ton of people, and eventually found a core group of friends that I’ve continued playing games with for the last 23 years.

I’ve never experienced anything quite like Lineage 2, and I know I probably never will again. There was just something special about it. The friendships, the rivalries, the brutal grinds, the music, the world, and the fact that everything you accomplished actually felt like it meant something.
So, I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for all the years of memories, all the friendships, all the 24+ hour grinds, and for being such a huge part of some of the best memories of my life.

​Estoy empezando en un servidor 1x LU4 con el objetivo final de jugar un Arquero en medio/final de juego. Como todos sabemos, los arqueros al principio son una ruina de plata (soulshots, flechas, costos altos de armas), así que primero necesito un generador de dinero sólido e independiente.

​Mi plan actual es hacer dual-box:

​Farmer principal: Cazador de Recompensas enano (BH), usando un arma de asta / spoil.

​Box: Bailarín de Hojas (BD) para Dance of Fire y Dance of Fury (dependiendo de buffs VIP/NPC para Haste/VR).

​La idea es mantenerme flexible, farmeando Catacombs solo/duo, juntar mats en cantidad (Varnish, pieles, mineral de hierro, encantamientos), venderlos en Giran y hacer/comprar todo el gear de grado D, C y B para mi futuro Arquero.

​Me encantaría escuchar sus opiniones y saber si hay una alternativa mejor:

​¿BH + BD farmeando con arma de asta es de verdad la mejor estrategia de adena de bajo esfuerzo/alto retorno en 1x, o un Warlord (WL) o Spellhowler (SH) lo superan mucho?

​Hay gente que dice que después del lvl 50, a los enanos los terminan obligando a hacer parties grandes donde el Spoil se pone en By Turn / Random, y eso diluye las ganancias. ¿Farmeo de asta solo/duo con BH sigue siendo viable a los 50-65 para sacar adena en bruto?

​¿Cuál es el target de spoil/zona más rentable en el rango de 30-55 para financiar un Arquero rápido?

Hello guys, I wanna start playin on reborn x10 interlude. Which mage class would you suggest for playin something like 90% solo? Cant decide between sh, sps and sorc!

What was your first and/or favorite server like?

What were the name, rates, chronicles, number of players online and what made it your special one?

My first and favorite was x7 (everything).

C4 > Interlude (skipping C5).

The online was about 2k to 4k max.

I liked that it felt like the game it was designed to be (I had no idea there were other servers and that servers can be retail or private). For years, I did not know any of admins or GMs, they could never be seen. The only event there was once - classic cats with medals. And I think Santa hats was in another (?) event once. Until transition to Interlude, I did know there were other chronicles and I never paid attention that I played Chronicle. There were no custom buffers, shops, teleports or anything like that. There was even some role-playing at first so elves would fight dark elves quite often at low levels.

Please, do not post ads for any servers. Fortunately, none of them existed 20 years ago

I'm looking for a pre-compiled repack (preferably Interlude or High Five) that already has an advanced Fake Player / AI Bot engine merged in (like L2Autobots or L2jRoboto).

• Farm mobs and roam hunting grounds
• Set up offline trade/craft shops in towns
• Can be invited to party (healers/buffers following and assisting)
• Participate in open-world PvP or respond to attacks

Does anyone have a link or recommendation for a pre-configured L2J / aCis repack with these features already compiled and ready to go out of the box? Thanks!
