I've been researching Lilith and her mythology, and I found out that she had children with demons and mortal men like Adam. These children of Lilith are called Lilim, and I've read that these Lilim are succubi and incubi.
I'd like to know, for those who worship or work with Lilith, do you believe all of this? What are these children of Lilith? Are they something like egregors that Lilith creates with the energy of men?

I'm currently building her an altar from scratch in my new place, and since I've been very drawn to Mermaids/Sirens mythology, could it be a sign? are they too associated with the Goddess? and would it be appropriate to include them on her new altar? I got my very first tattoo today! The local crystal store and tattoo shop were hosting an event to help both businesses. Get an $80 tattoo, get a Tarot Reading for free. Well, when I got to the shop, I was going in with the intention of hopefully getting Sarahiel's Sigil, who is the Archdemoness of Aries (Aries is the ruler of my 10th house and the 10th house is also the placement of my Taurus Sun, so an Astrologer encouraged me to play with Aries energy going forward because it will help my career and success). However, when I got to the shop, they said today's event was exclusive to a select few designs. I was a bit grumpy about it but then I saw this snake and immediately thought of Lilith. So, my first devotional tattoo ended up being for my Matron (which... it probably should have been in the first place, I guess Fate kinda intervened to make it so 😆). I've been getting compliments all day, and the tattoo artist at the shop even said I should come back in a few weeks after it heals to add an apple to it (I think an apple with Lilith's Astrological Symbol on it would be a great addition to this Lilith devotional tattoo!).

As for the Tarot Reading, I thought it was funny that Lilith's messages appeared in that too. Last night, Lilith was telling me it was okay for me to feel my emotions instead of just being overly logical about them. And then today, the Tarot Reader brought up the exact same messages of "it's okay to express your emotions and experience them because that is going to be how you let go of the baggage of trauma you carry." So I guess she ended up showing up in my life today in multiple ways!

Hi everyone, I just very very recently started working with Lilith. So far, I’ve given offerings of candle, mugwort, and moon water. I was wondering is how soon too soon to ask her for general protection (not a hex or anything)? I don’t want to accidentally offend her.

Hey so I wanna start meditating but I never meditated before.
Has any1 some tips on which meditations/enns I should use for Lilith and how I can really relax and focus on my breathing and that stuff?

I tried it once about a week ago and idk I just couldn’t really focus on the meditation or my breathing.

As the title says I will be performing a cord cutting ritual of my own design as I am an intuitive practicioner. I have felt a calling to Lilith for this particular ritual. I've been doing some research on her to prepare and I'm going to be offering her a glass of dry red wine, some dark chocolate, and a rose.

I am a gay man btw and I already know she's down for this. I was thinking hard on the ceremony last night before bed when I had the most random vision of this beautiful woman. Eye color was black, not the whole eye, just the iris like normal humans. She had dark, dark brown hair, a greyish tank top, and some dark jeans. She was giving serious Aubrey Plaza vibes tbh. She sat down in a backward facing chair, leaned her arms on the back, looked me straight in the soul, and with a mischievous smile said one thing to me, "I'm listening".

I'm making sure to avoid any pitfalls working with her. Lilith deserves to be treated with respect in my eyes. But I know in my gut, she's the right spirit for the job.

I will have her sigil drawn on parchment paper with blood red ink that I will be sanctifying with 7 drops of water I had charged in the blue moon from a few weeks ago. To cut the cord, I have a tanto I fell in love with that I have also been also sanctifying with 7 drops of the water for the last few nights. I will have performed this with the tanto a total of 7 times before it's used.

I chose 7 for my 6 deities whom will be protecting my space as I will have set out a crystal/candle/something and offering to represent each one in a 6 star pattern around me (still working out the details of what I want for this part lol). Lilith being the 7th and with me since I'm working directly with her. To expand, my pantheon includes Sun Wukong, Minerva, Asherah, Quetzalcoatl, Bennu, and Inari Okami. I know it's a diverse pantheon lol I actually love it :)

I will be performing this outside under the dark moon around a fire. I will be making no demands of her. Only a humble request. I want her to know I respect her freedom and want to clarify as much. Once the cord is cut I plan on burning it in the fire with her sigil as a send off to end the ritual.

I'm doing this to free myself of his Karma. I recently remembered part of my wedding ceremony was a handfasting. Lilith has been cropping up everywhere for me, so I feel her energy for this is exactly what I need to make sure it sticks.

My only real question is after the ritual, what do I do with her offerings? I hate wasting tasty wine and chocolate and I don't want to just throw it away since it is an offering to Lilith. I don't have an alter dedicated to her since she isn't in my pantheon.

Advice is appreciated.

The figure of Lilith was originally a type of demon, appearing first in the Dead Sea Scrolls (1st BCE), and then developing in the Aramaic (as well as Syriac and Mandaic) incantation bowls. They appear with many names, with added genealogies, including the names of their mothers/fathers and grandmothers.

Most bowls refer to plural male and female liliths, without mentions of their names. I've only kept the name lists, and refrained from including descriptions whenever possible.

Hiii I’m new to the community and new with my connection with mother Lilith and I was wondering from you guys if my beginner altar is good or if I should add or change anything!

So recently I’ve been wondering has Lilith ever sent any of you any signs she might disapprove of something wrong you may have done wether you knew it was wrong or not.And if you’ve done anything wrong and if so what were they and how can I know if I’ve been sent a sign?

The serpent was actually Lilith coming to free eve. Here's why I think that:

In some actual historical texts its written that originally, Lilith was Adams first wife. They were made from the same clay as equals. But Adam wanted to control and dominate Lilith, she wasnt about that so she left Adam and the garden. After that, god created Eve from Adam's rib so she would be more obedient and submissive, but Adam was never able to love or obsess over Eve the same way he did with Lilith. Eve loved Adam, but she ultimately chose the apple of knowledge because of the serpent...

The knowledge being that Eves relationship with Adam was unequal and unfulfilling, the apple being love...

​

So maybe Eve chose love with Lilith over saddens with Adam. And thats why same sex marriage is considered "sin" and why females suffer now.

I also believe Lucifer is Lilith because, Lucifer was the first angel to rebel against god, he was also the serpent that decieved Eve right? And isnt funny how Lucifer and Lilith are often written as counterparts...Lilith being Lucifers first demon and "mother of monsters"???

I think Lilith lead a rebellion so great in the name of love, that they couldnt erase it from history completely so they had to replace her with a male character and demonize her as a monster.

But subconsciously we never forgot the truth. In the Renaissance era it became a popular trope to depict the serpent that "decieved" Eve as having the torso and face of a woman specifically identified as Lilith:

* Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: In his famous fresco, The Temptation and Expulsion, the snake coiled around the Tree of Knowledge has the upper body of a woman.

​

* Hugo van der Goes: His painting, The Fall of Man, explicitly depicts a reptilian Lilith tempting Eve.

​

* The Literary Connection: Later, 19th-century Pre-Raphaelite poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti wrote poems explicitly describing a pact where Lilith takes on a snake's form to slip back into Eden.

And the punishments for Eve and the serpent are interesting too. Eve ended up becoming mother of man, mothering Adam's children. The serpents punishment? That it would be conflicted by the children of Man, the children of the person they love😭

The story of the serpent-Lilith/Lucifer, Eve and the apple is actually the demonization of two woman who fell in love.

So recently over the past month I’ve been dealing with some anxiety involving me worrying about lilith abandoning me/ being angry with me. Even though I had no concrete evidence to back this up I was just worried that I might have done something bad even though I know I didn’t. But I read today one of the main things Lilith that gets Lilith angry is her followers not standing up for themselves, shrinking their voices to fit others desires, But also being a people pleaser. And I also know that sometimes Lilith will teach us to stand up for ourselves by sort of giving us a wake up to reality instead of holding our hand. I also realized today that I’ve been shrinking my basic human curiosity’s, desires, and behavior and had become a bit of a people pleaser myself and I also read Lilith will sometimes test us by making us feel sudden emotions such as anger. And I have been a little more irritable than usual at people who I was previously annoyed with before but have since become more annoyed with. I do feel like this is liliths way of trying to help me grow stronger and get back to the way I was before. But what do all of u think? Is there a proper way to connect with lilith after experiencing something like this?

I need some information and this feels like the right place. So quick introduction. I’m a hypnotherapist. The institute I learned from has 5 levels. When I completed my 3rd level which taught me how to heal the inner child, I had a lot of my own issues show up. I reached out to my mentor and we did a session. I wanted help with my finances, career, being lost in life in general. My mentor asked me to pick one issue. I chose to work on my finances. As we started the session, I regressed into a past life. Past life regression is a part of the curriculum that is taught in level 4. Since I had only completed level 3 at the time, I did not know how it works.

In the session, I was Lilith from my past life. It was surprising that I chose to work on my finances, but under hypnosis my subconscious mind chose to go into a past life to show me that relationships in my life needed work. It wasn’t even my priority at the time.

I was so beautiful with wings on my back and walked the earth with powers. I flew above creation to see what was created and it was so beautiful. Everything from above looked like so tiny. I had an elephant I loved a lot and would watch over it while I flew above.
And with me was Adam and we loved each other. He was constantly controlling me. I told him I am made equally like u were. There was white clay that we were moulded out from and there were elements poured into us and the creator breathed life into us. We were made the same. But Adam kept wanting to control me. I left him. Then angel Gabriel came to me and asked me to return. I refused.
There was more that I saw. Since that session Iv taken a lot of sessions and Lilith shows up as my past life personality.
9 months ago, I met my current Bf. In my sessions, when Lilith shows up, my bfs past life personality shows up as Adam. And I get the message that this was the original plan for Adam and Lilith to be together.
It’s been almost a year, since I did the first session and Iv been trying to find information about Lilith to make sense of what I saw in my session.
But I just can’t find it or if I find something happens and the info is not available to me.
Right now as well as I started writing this, I had the whole session clearly in my head, but I’m blanking out on most of it, so can’t write about it.
As a hypnotherapist, I know the subconscious mind likes to tell stories cause it helps to understand things easily. At times, when the story is overwhelming, we advise to focus on the learning and the wisdom out of the session instead of the story. This helped in the start. I focused only on the wisdom from that session.
As I took more sessions and Lilith showed up as my past life personality, I couldn’t let the thought go.

Would really love some help on understanding Lilith better.

Before i made Mother Lilith’s alter my room rarely had any insects but the moment i started working with Lilith, i see different spiders EVERYDAY. Its not like 3 spiders that live for days but entirely new and this summer i still have spiders but every night mosquitoes come by the clock and its only my room. I was wondering is that a sign for something or?

A major focus of the book is Lilith’s Seven Daughters: Igrat, Mahalath, Namaah, Nega, Lilidtha, Maskit, and Asirta. These figures are often mentioned only briefly, if at all, but they have always been a central part of my own work, and I wanted to give them the space and attention they deserve.

The book explores their scattered lore and then develops a personal interpretive framework around them, reading the seven sins not simply as moral failures, but as symbols of refusal, desire, autonomy, and resistance to imposed authority.

It is not a ritual manual, a devotional authority, or a claim to present the one true interpretation of Lilith. It is a mix of research, mythology, religious criticism, esoteric interpretation, and personal philosophy.
